I'm quite a fan of archtypes. I think they're a better option for expanding classes than "Just add another class/prestige class". They're light weight and easy to understand and apply. the quality is highly variable, but that can be said about everything in the system. I'm not sure how you...

So went to a local con on the weekend and played: Pathfinder Society Scenario #5–16: Destiny of the Sands—Part 3: Sanctum of the Sages (PFRPG) PDF Worst "adventure" ever. Mary Sue wizard, pages of NPC monologue, badbadbad chase scenes. And mythic crap all over it. Which was a pity as the f...

Meh, that's not my experience of an Australian education, where whether or not you were cool was entirely based on how social you were, if you also happened to be smart, then that's great too. But not being an asshole is the first step to being one of the cool kids. I did meet once principle who hat...

What normally happens is that the lane opponent recalls to get health/stuff or dies and leaves WW to freefarm. Bad WW players will push the lane and then die when the opponent returns. They should have roamed instead.

Yep, no escapes. If you push and get ganked while your opponent > 50%, you're stuffed.

Why can't you play a sorcerer catfolk? They're in the race guide. I've played significantly stranger things in PFS games. According to the PFS rules, they're quite legal, on the same tier as assimar or tengu.

I'm rather looking forward to it, it's a pretty basic system so I think it's hard to screw up too much.

Pffft. Old people who tend to vote right wing aren't having their pensions cut. It's only the unemployed and disabled.

But still, sucks that they are just sucking up your voluntary labour. Something for the cv, I guess.

You know, that's not a topic that's ever been discussed in any of the style guides I have. As it's a proper noun, you'd expect it to be capitalised, but because of case sensitivity you may actually be referring to another person. I think the name in quotes is definitely the way to go.

Zeno Clash. The world imagining and art are really fantastic, even if the gameplay becomes a little trite towards the end. Still haven't played the sequel though.

So you play Core only with half of core banned? Wow that sounds pretty awful. Like what's the point of even playing the game at that point? One archtype and most of one class is not even nearly half the core. And any class that makes it unfun for every other person at the table isn't a good class a...

The only ones that I've had limited are on occasions where I wanted to put too many rules into use in a game where we're just coming to grips with the rules. I've never had one actually banned post hoc, but I've banned a couple. In my current PF game I've banned master summoners, because having > 10...

Why does the funding model matter at all? They're both virtual goods up for prepurchasing. That developers have multiple tiers of products with dubious value at the luxury end shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone.

When you've got people pledging $ridonculous$ for Star Citizen, a game which will not even have half an alpha for another couple of months, $500 is a comparative bargain!

They're increasing the low ranks of Rammus' and Fiddle's CC abilities, while decreasing the high ones. Because with the speed LoL is played at, 3 seconds of CC is stupid.
