I'll have Astral on my pretender. The diversity the Spenta offer is pretty good, however, they are 60 Astral each. I'm going to be struggling to raise that kind of income in addition to spreading out my national access to astral.

Not impossible, but not the most practical for my nation either. Having said that, a flying priest might come in useful if I can actually summon one...

The spell Couatls are S3/N3/H2, don't cost gold, cost Nature which is very reasonable considering the few really decent things Nature can get you, and most importantly don't cost a cap-only recruit slot.

Easily summonable Astral Mages is not a terrible plan. At worse, you can use them for Soulslay spam.

Yeah... that's fair. I don't think it's any secret that when you draft White Ones and a Lord of the Forest that you want the Gandharvas as well.

You have some spells missing from your list:
Sloth of Bears (Ulm)
Summon Monster Toads (C'tis)
# Note - that is Toads Plural, and is not the same as the Mictlan spell.
Summon Scorpion Man (C'tis)
# Note - that is Summon as opposed to Contact, and is not the same as the Abysia spell - well, okay, game mechanically it is identical.
Pack of Wolves (Vanheim)
Contact Cu Sidhe (Eriu)
# Summon vs Contact again, so is not the same as the Man spell which has a different name. Game mechanically, it is the same as the Man spell.

OK. And yeah, I guess we can have the spells that do exactly the same thing but are named slightly differently (contact vs. summon) to stand as different spells that people can pick. I doubt there is going to be a run on Scorpion Men in any case.

Also: since it has been confirmed that we can mod in Ermorian priest spells, I listed them all. Even the ones that are legacies from Dominions 2 that don't actually do anything. Someone could take Unholy Blessing as some sort of taunt I suppose.

Sorry about that; I had a crazy day.

Huichan picks Angelic Host (Pyth).

Edit: Since the dom3 wiki is still down, is the reanimation of the carrion lady, lord, etc innate or tied to Pangaea?

Yes and no.

Yes, manikin reanimation is tied to Pangaea.

No, undead reanimation is possible for any undead priest (like a Carrion lady).

The Mercenary Company of Sachs picks:

Summon Mandeha (Bandar Log)

While this is outside my usual comfort zone I've seen K play with these bad boys, and they're too good to pass up.

Since we've ended up drafting a bunch of Man stuff, Nimtir Drafts:

Soothing Song (Man)

The best Monkey summons are gone, I can at least get something useful for my Alchemists to do in combat.

They all have a chance of starting with an affliction.

I'm not sure. I know that Skopets, Khlyst and Five Fold Angels have a similar mechanic, but don't always appear with a random affliction. Flagellants could have 100% chance.

Man, choosing spells is hard.

I'll take Summon Yazatas.

Choosing spells is hard. But there's one on this list that I know will be more useful than equal-level atlernatives without question, so:

I'll take:
Iron Darts (Ulm).

Flagellants do not all have afflictions. I just loaded up a Marignon game and pressed W and they weren't all highlighted.

Summon Rudra (Bandar Log)

In case I'll get to the late game.

If it helps, I'm annoyed that you picked Mandehas.
