The use of brainlets and the obsession with left vs right is rather telling of this pic's target demo (which I doubt is the Den). I'm actually surprised Libertad of all people would share this.

I think it's great that Koumei got her own square. Way to go, Koumei! I hear you're a very good roleplayer who makes cooler characters than me (which is probably accurate).
This is obviously written by edgelords and is thus mostly the sort of shitty copy/paste jokes edgelords make, but there are a few good jokes (I'm looking at you, Steve and the two furries). Overall quality is maybe a 3 or 4 out of 10? And for what it's worth they mostly put the worst people to play with on the right and the best people to play with on the left.

I don't like how dismissive they are about rules and game mechanics.

I was in a shit-posting mood at the time and bear full responsibility.
Also I apologize if I've been rather absent these past weeks. I do still plan on doing The Nightmares Underneath and Magical Industrial Revolution, but various IRL things keep knocking me off the train tracks.

It would be a lot better if it was actually combining the Political Compass with alignment grids, and so was basically "the alignments in each section of the political grid."
That said, as with any scattershot joke, a few pellets do hit.
I'm basically "Lesbian/Homebrew Anarchist/Pirate"
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

I wasn't going to comment until anybody else did, so I'm glad that's been breached. That said, I have aspects of Dice Hoarder (except I let people borrow whatever shiny ones tickle their fancy), Pirate (not the bits about playing swashbucklers) and indeed Ex-Christian Girl. Mostly in the sense that I am literally an ex-Christian girl and that probably explains more about me than I'd like it to.
For a time I was actually The Egg. I still pretend to be a dude in some forums and things, it started as "you don't get harassed nearly as much" and sort of snowballed as you get used to people calling you bro (and not being quizzed on how many Sonic games you can actually name if you call yourself a gamer), but there was a phase where I played male characters, and they weren't all hyper-masculine parodies like The Urak' Guy.

Much empathy. I played a longstanding female character with a not at all subtle goal of having her hit on my friend's character I had a crush on.
It's not related to railroading, it's just a case of being chill and saying "Let's have everyone level up at the same time" rather than tracking everyone's individual XP and saying "Oh you brewed a potion nine sessions ago? Well fuck you."
Count Arioch the 28th wrote:There is NOTHING better than lesbians. Lesbians make everything better.
Because XP rules are hard or something. They'd probably be less dumb if there weren't so many ways to fucking lose XP by doing completely normal, class-appropriate activities.
I've found tracking XP lends itself to players worrying about missing XP if they don't do certain things, whereas just having everyone level the fuck up at the same time lets the players do whatever they want without worrying "oh no if we don't murder the slightly shady Griffon tamers we'll be missing XP because they're just dealers in a black market but also definitely worth XP, but not killing them isn't really bypassing anything because they're friendly so we may not get a reward for it." The moment I heard a conversation about "will we get XP if do X?" I shut off XP tracking because it was making the game less fun. Making decisions to maximize XP can be fun in computer games, but not in tabletop.
When I run games the players level up for completing goals instead of tallying up all the little tasks they did while completing them. That way if they do something awesome and bypass some encounters they can still go deal with the bigger things they were working towards.
As a player I kind of hate counting XP too, unless my GM is a stingy fuck who is keeping us at the same level for like 6+ sessions where we've had a lot of combats. Then I want it just so I can still have some advancement and use the shiny new character options.
