This is the Transformers Comic-con exclusive:
A transformers '80s hair metal band, complete with clip on mullets.
I will now give Shrapnel a moment to clean up his keyboard/monitor.
Here are the individual bots:
Optimus Prime had a hair metal phase.
I feel like they really missed an opportunity to give Megatron some ridiculous multi-necked guitar and the arms to play it
Not pictured, Soundwave's third "Recording Studio" form
Apparently this character is named "Smooth Jazz." I'm sure he didn't use that moniker in this phase of his life.
It also comes with a roadie case which includes "special edition posters, stickers, a concert ticket, All-Acess VIP pass, and tell-all history booklet depicting the journey of the Knights of Unicron, from their humble beginnings and formation to their stellar hits and "look" (glam rock deco, metal band hair), band infighting (the titanic egos that once tore them apart), and triumphant return to the stage."

Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

That is indeed erection worthy. There are no words that describe the awesomeness of this.
...'old on. When you say "Transformers Comic-Con", do you mean BotCon or a fan-made convention?
Is this wretched demi-bee
Half asleep upon my knee
Some freak from a menagerie?
No! It's Eric, the half a bee

I mean the thing that Hasbro is doing for Transformers as a San Francisco Comic Con exclusive: http://tformers.com/san-diego-comic-con ... /news.html
edit: oh, and it's $185.

Yep, it's a real product. Companies do this kind of crazy shit for big cons.

Well, I knew that BotCon had con exclusives, and I knew that this year's was orgasm-inducing (BUT THEY'RE ALL SOLD OUT! THERE ARE NO EMOTICONS TO EXPRESS HOW SAD/PISSED THAT MAKES ME FEEL) and I knew that SDCC '13 had a special redeco of Metroplex*, but I had no idea that Hasbro would do something this awesome at a non-TF convention. I thought it was a fan-made custom toy, at first.
Then again, it is the thirtieth anniversary of Transformers, so i suppose it makes sense that Hasbro would go all out, because Hasbro loves their fans. (Ha ha ha! WotC doesn't care, but the Boy's Toy's Department does!)
Of course, now I'm even sadder because I won't be able to get that set, either (I has no money...).
*okay, it's the Hong Kong ACG-COG toy, but they don't have pictures of the SDCC one, and they're nigh identical.

You know that Age of Extinction comes out this month too, right? I think you should see it and do a drunk rant about it here. It would be pretty amusing.
