I hated that movie.

Let's not forget that during the great jedi purge, all the jedi forgot they had mystical powers and all died like chumps.

We seem to have some common ground.

The Purge takes place in between the 19 years between Episodes III and IV.
What I am against in the Dawn of Defiance is that it allows players to start out as Jedi. Knowing how many gung-ho powergamers and "I got l33t Force Lightning!" players there are. Their characters are rarely different. Judging by how effective the Emperor was in wiping out Jedi, there is no rational reason for said Jedi and Force-users to alive. Sure, a lot of GMs may say "give a really good explanation/backstory," but that does not prevent them from acting like an idiot and causing every Stormtrooper death sqaud in the system to hunt the party down.

Come now, noble Ceilingcat, explore your fairy side with us. It's not gay at all.

I'm another elf by the way.

I tried to take the test, I really did, but the overwhelming idiocy of it drove me away.

Ceilingcat will probably end up a pixie. It's a scary concept.
But if one never takes the test...

For the love of...look, there's five fey returned by this test. There's five choices in each question. Imagine the simplest way this test could possibly work, and you know how it works (the order's randomized, that's the maximum concession to good practices). And how it was undoubtedly written (other than badly). The entire thing is a collection of all the things you should not do in a test collected in one, easy-to-mock place. Which might even be intentional.

This isn't one of those tests whose results are suspect, this is one of those tests that proves it is possible to do worse than random chance.

But, but... according to various internet tests I'm a LN Hufflepuff Dark Elf Sorcerer! You can't tell me that isn't true!

Though they did fail to make one mistake with that test. There is that 'What kind of gamer are you' quiz Munchkin/leader/role-player/casual/tactician/etc. It rates you in every category, as a percentage. And its done in a way that you can be 70% tactician/59% munchkin/54% casual/etc.. Most people end up being 500% or so...

...which is arguably better than a test that determines you're 26% A, 25% B, 25% C, and 24% D and reports that result as "you're an A."

Sometimes there's actually a completely legitimate reason why the percentages don't add up to 100%...you have to actually read what they're percentages of (e.g. "you act like this in X% of the cases where that was an option, which is less than all of them"). Of course, failing to specify that could easily be another failure of the test...

Your role model is Maddox? That's both lame and completely contrary to how you conduct yourself around here.

No, I was just joking, seeing as how he calls himself a pirate and all.

Yes... In some way.

Anyway, personality tests are highly inaccurate, even if it was made by a psychology major. The human psyche is not bound to multiple-choice answers.

How is being not proficient with any armor balance up against more hit points? It makes you easier to hit, and gaining the Toughness feat multiple times isn't going to help, particularly against attacks that do not distinguish between hit points (i.e. Save or Die).

...Armor doesn't help against save or die, either.

But Toughness is only worth being bit by a rabid squirrel, so why is it supposed to matter when people are hitting you with things much larger?

I know some people that were like that. One was totally smitten with me for a while, and thought I was utterly awesome, but I had a headache just being around her too long (the 4 year age gap - when I was only 19 when we first met - also didn't help matters).

I don't think I currently know anyone that "random", and my life can only be better because of this.

On a whim, I looked at the other stuff in the AnimeD20 area of the WotC site, and found this: AirGear

While I'm adverse to many of the things that show up there, this kinda thing takes the cake. Complimucated rules for performing stunts and tricks in a sports tournaments using d20 rules. :disgusted::lmao:
I had a signature here once but I've since lost it.
