I don't know whether to be grossed out or make motor-boat noises. Also, 65 strikes me as really young for a great-grandmother.

If you're a mother at 14, you could be a grandmother at 28, and a great-grandmother at 42. It all depends on how early you get started and your offspring gets started.

But hey, it's her money, she's not hurting me any, if it makes her happy then I'm not going to judge.

If she and each other generation had kids at 21, she could be a great grandmother by 63.

So, Steve Jobs died today of pancreatic cancer.

Now the whole Apple Nation will be in mourning.
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

--The horror of Mario

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

No apple is going to recall all products and provide them with black cases instead of white

More people will now suddenly start to say "this sucks, if only Steve was still alive..." when new Apple products come out, no matter how good or bad the products actually are.

I'm curious as to what Adobe's next move will be since it was Jobs who pushed to remove Flash compatibility.

PS: I hate Flash but it's still a common tool in web development that doesn't seem to want to die. Er... I mean... go away.

Microsoft is going to kill flash.
IE10 will only support HTML5 and no plugins.

There are people who still use IE?

Also, it is said that before you die, your life goes before your eyes in a Flash. Pity it was a Quicktime, I guess, or Jobs would have been able to view it.

Internet Explorer is a bag of hammered buttholes. If IE6 were a person it would have been euthanized in the name of decency. I'm not having to write so many "if then" statements in IE8 but it STILL can't handle a lot of common CSS design practices.

It's time for some happy news ... Mets announce rescaled ticket prices for '12

Someone asked me, "But why would you go to a ballpark to see a loosing team?" I replied that if I went to the ballpark to see a winning team I would be compelled to stay in my seat the whole time on pins and needles. Seeing a loosing team gives me an excuse to go for that hot dog (and a beer), or that fried dough (and a beer) or ... There are so many things to eat at Citi Field!

ie 9 is a solid browser. That said, I don't normally use it.

I am "legally" required to use IE because, apparently, as a government institution, we need the express written permission of the copyright holder to use a program. Even if it's free. Especially if it's free. When I point out to my bosses such a law COULD NOT FUCKING EXIST because it'd prevent officials talking about Linux (government orgs use Windows and iOS for obvious reasons, but there's always talk of cutting costs), they just tell me to STFU and keep using whatever it is that I use (and no, they do not profit from the deals). At times, they add something about the necessity of FSB certification, which is too stupid to object to.

It's the ads, mostly. I hate ads so much I click on each ad I see exactly once (to block the fuck out of it).

Jokes are never too soon. There's the issue of abusive speech, but timing is not a consideration. Posting jokes on the Internet is okay, emailing them to Jobs' widow is not, no matter how much time passes.

Actually, you just flat-out confused me there, which I think counts for something. Are you enjoying more of that special Colombian "coffee"?

I am presently working my volunteer shift at the local public library. Between answering questions, weeding out old periodicals, and performing my other duties, I browse the Internet. Internet Explorer is the library standard. I haven't used one of the public computers in a while, but they may reach the lofty heights of presenting Firefox as a non-default option.

Also, Google Chrome started randomly clearing all cookies from in-browser flash programs on my home computer, so I use IE to play Luftrauser in order to keep my high score.

Also, armed robbery of people selling things on Craigslist.

I'm not sure why someone trying to sell his cell phone would be an attractive enough target for 3 or 4 people to rob collectively, especially if they paid for the gas in their getaway vehicle.
