Apparently Wizards of the Coast just forgot to file registration renewal for TSR and related trademarks.
So some dude in North Carolina who wants to publish books that give black people racial penalties to intelligence and explicitly ban trans characters created a new TSR company to sell "Star Frontiers."
Now Wizards is suing and claiming that by continuing to sell Spelljammer they have "common law" trademark on TSR stuff.

IIRC, the minimum intelligence for "Norse" people is higher than the maximum intelligence for black people. Something like 13 and 9, but I could be wrong.

Well at least they've got their ideas in line with themselves, as opposed to RaHoWa giving the "lesser" races superpowers like no-save stunlocks.

The thing is, NuTSR swiped Star Frontiers' trademark while forgetting the book and its content was a copyrighted IP, and now that they're being called out, WotC filed an injuction against Justin LaNazi on account of IP theft AND damages since NuTSR is misleading the public into associating WotC's properties with deplorable content.
So, Hasbro lawyers on the case. Stick a fork in Justin LaNazi. He's done.
