What if the Bolsheviks were actually financed and organized by Germany?

I'm not clear how this is supposed to change anything.

Are we assuming that they're any more/less successful long term because of this? Or that Germany somehow calls in the favor sometime between the 1917 revolution and the 1918 defeat of the Kaiser--beyond Russia's exit from WWI and signing a treaty with Germany during that exact time frame?

This sort of happened? Germany at least ensured Lenin's return to Russia to help kick off the revolutions, but even if Germany organized a communist uprising, like Whatever has said, the removing of Russia from the war is probably the most they could have asked for, and for later down the line we are taking about several different government changes within Germany, so the Bolsheviks would have stopped being beholden to Germany even if they did hypothetically keep on taking German money. Which considering the state of Germany up through World War 2, the Germans would have been unable to do anyway.
