Paradox parts ways with Modiphus for Vampire: The Masquerade

Paradox has decided to part ways with Modiphus and do development for the tabletop Vampire: The Masquerade in-house under Justin Achilli and partnering with Renegade Game Studios. Sounds kind of like early D&D5e with a small in-house team and then farming stuff out to others for the grunt work.
They're keeping Jason Carl on board, and made a point of emphasizing bringing in diversity consultants (to avoid the controversies around the release of v5 I guess.)
First new product is Vampire: The Masquerade Companion, which will (re)introduce the Tzimisce, Ravnos, and Salubri Clans.
Surely nothing could go wrong with this ????
