Great movie! Didn't need to know Japanese to get what was going on. The only things that needed translation were a few jokes involving what to wish for with dragon balls.
Super great fights, fleshed out saiyan society more, also established that Earth makes the best food in the galaxy.
What's also cool is that technology is not just a simple more/less advanced paradigm. There's a scene where some people who work for Frieza are amazed at capsule technology.
