I'm up for that. I know what SlyJohnny's build is, and everything that happened on both sides of his first two adventures so it would be fair if he wants to create a new mage or completely reshuffle his newgame+ sorceror.

I'm waiting for Thaluikhain to indicate interest in doing another one before I do anything else. If he is interested then I don't need a new thread, I can just take over the mage 2 one.

Taking over thread2 rather than making a new one sounds better.

That might have been the reason.

Or, possibly something exciting like a swarm of post eating locusts, and you can't prove otherwise.

EDIT: Oh, and it looks like Explosive Wand will be defending their title, rather than a new lvl1 challenger.

Much more of the Rainbow Land explored this time (though still a lot yet to be discovered), more items collected (but plenty left to find), some persistent effects and it got bleak.

If Thaluikhain wants to I'm up for another match, but will step aside if there's anybody else that wants to play as I think this would be more fun between 2 people with less knowledge. I think my knowledge of the Rainbow Land, which started off vague and has since solidified quite a bit would be more than enough advantage that I shouldn't take the new mage+ bonuses.

A summary of what I know:

I know the exact location of 3 instadeath items, which zones the other 2 are in, the correct method to get 2 of them and am 90% certain that I know how to get the 3rd one I know the exact location of based on another old memory. I also know a technique that enhances the utility of the instadeath items.

I'm up for running another match, sure, though yeah, Mr Shine has seen a fair bit of the world and knows how some things work, more than a newbie would.

Well, I've been waiting for the game for some time now, so if there's no new players here by tomorrow, I'm happy to just play this in Hard mode (playing against the experienced player).

Will get my new Mage created tomorrow.
