And it'd have been Unicorn Masterrace because if you are not a caster, you are doing it wrong again of course . .

TFwiki wrote:Soon is the name of the region in the time-domain (familiar to all marketing departments, and to the moderators and staff of Fun Publications) which sees release of all BotCon news, club exclusives, and other fan desirables. Soon is when then will become now.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.

It's Alicorn master race, with unicorns a close second.

Unicorns can evolve into alicorns, though, right? My understanding is that Twilight Sparkle didn't have wings at the beginning of the show, but eventually got them.

I don't think Rarity got wings or Rainbow Dash grew a horn. And I'm afraid to try to look it up.

Unicorns and pegasi both have been known to evolve into alicorns. Princess Cadance was originally a pegasus.

Any type of pony can become an alicorn, from what the show says. It doesn't say if any of them were anything but unicorns before they became Princesses, though.

Non-major-character unicorns never do anything impressive (never seen anything but basic TK and light from one) and don't appear to be ruling much of anything. Pegasi on the other hand have the fairly significant power of flight, regularly gather in groups to do impressive things with the weather, have powerful looking tech with literal lightning in the bottle, and the others can't even go to their home town for the most part.

With powerful major characters there is a bias for unicorns, but not a total one. Maud, an earth pony, has the best attack we've seen out of non-immortals, for instance.

In the show itself, there are a total of 5 alicorns right now. Twilight's grown wings, and it appears that until the recent birth of Flurry Heart, being born an alicorn wasn't considered possible, but there's no indication of what the others were.

There are books that show writers point to as being canon, in which Cadance was originally a pegasus while Celestia and Luna are implied to have been born alicorns and are stated to have been raised by alicorns.

In the comics, Celestia takes on unicorn students she trains in an attempt to make them alicorns. Some success early on is implied.
