Alan Moore's stuff with Avatar is nominally tolerable (Yuggoth Cultures/Nightjar, The Courtyard, Neonomicon, Providence), and I didn't mind Fall of Cthulhu from Boom! and Colder from Dark Horse. I don't know any deep cuts offhand, unfortunately.

Witch Doctor fits, I think. Only bad side is that there's just 10 issues. (or two paperbacks)
