Vagrus

Anyone tried it? It's a still-in-development game where you're the leader of a merchant/mercenary caravan in what clearly was once someone's homebrew DND campaign setting.

It's got atmosphere in spades, for all that it's a bit slow and convoluted at the moment. But it seems like the sort of thing people here would have sought out.

EDIT: VAGRUS. Not Zagrus. I'm an idiot.

Looks like there's a website for it here, for those who are curious:

Making one of the bullet points be "EXPLORE A DARK CONTINENT" raises a potential racism warning flag.

Sounds like the game might be drawing from ideas in Banner Saga. I drifted away from Banner Saga because the combat was too slow, but caravan adventures could be pretty cool in theory. I might check out one of the videos when I get back home and have more time, lunch break is almost over.
