I'm fine with any era, I was thinking priestesses in quantity.

Solid. I've edited the uncertainty out and various expressed preferences in.

Thank you for being more organized and competent than me.

If we're going MA, I'd be down to do MA Ashdod.

Do we want to wait and see if more people show, or start looking for maps now?

I'll play. How about MA Abysia?

An MA game with Ermor? I'd be willing to give C'tis a try. I haven't played disease lizards in a long time, but with Ashen Empire in play, they might pull less aggro.

What file host are we using?

Hmm, MA Ermor and MA C'ties. There is Aspodel missing for the Apocalypse.
Count me in as Aspodel.

Just posting to confirm my pick for MA Ermor. I've never played a multiplayer dominions game before, even though i specifically bought dom4 to play on the den. I am fine with any map, and look forward to the game.

Okay, at the moment I'm thinking non-wrapping Parganos. If anyone objects to that, please do so with a suggested replacement.

Is it left/right balanced? It seems like there are a lot of mountains on the left and not on the right. Or is that something that doesn't really matter?

Crapshoot. Some factions benefit from mountains, others don't. They tend to be poor and high in resources.

Sounds good. Scrolling through a wrapping map can be a little disorienting to me, and it looks strategically interesting.

In that case, I'm fine with it. (It's not a concern, it's just my noobishness).

Also, settings:

• Events: Common
• Hall of Fame: 15
• Throne Points:16 (8x1, 4x2)
• Throne Points to win: 8

Any objections?

Looks good to me. If you've got half the map in a large multiplayer game, that's probably a good place to call it. Good chances of avoiding a tedious lategame.

Well, as I learned in the first one of these I managed, getting X% of the VPs doesn't necessarily involve taking X% of the map. You can sleaze out a win one way or the other with remarkably few provinces held.

If someone wins by teleporting golem+prophet hit squads and Crumbling throne forts, that's pretty cool. I am down with a sudden upset victory.

With a game this small, it is unlikely to get into a huge artifact slam fest. We should play with slow artifact forging off. If someone gets to Construction 8 before the game is decided, I'll be a bit surprised, and that person deserves to get however many artifacts they can produce.

I'd like story events on, if nobody else has objections. I still haven't seen the Necromancer or demon gate invasions.

Site frequency: Don't I recall someone arguing in favour of slightly elevated site frequency?
