You know, he pulled that same nonsense with Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Kirby and friends bullshit.
Well, yes, but I think that's slightly more forgivable as Sakurai actually created the Kirby franchise.

ONLY ONE MORE DAY! ROUGHLY!

My god, this is more exciting than when Michael Bay got roughed up by Chinese mobsters on the set of Transformers: AOE!

BIG NEWS!

Mewtwo, (yes, THAT Mewtwo!) will be available as a special DLC character for the SSB4!

However, to get it, you must buy BOTH versions of SSB4 and register them for Club Nintendo. It'll then be available as a free download sometime Spring 2015.

See, Darth? They DID include it!

Pointy sticks are too good for them. Make it spiked iron rods that have been superheated and then anally inserted up into their prostate and all the way through their mouth.

Yo, put down the pitchforks. Mewtwo is FREE DLC only if you have both versions.

If you only have one, he'll probably just cost five bucks.[/u]

Hey, there are plenty of other reasons to be angry at Mashpotato Samurai and his game design choices.

Ridley's my vice, there.

Grr... don't get me started on the whole Ridley thing. I mean, just... ooo it makes me mad! Those damn... and then those other guys... and not to mention those goddamn liberals in Quebec and that incident with the dog.

Anyway, most of my anger toward Nintendo is actually towards their handling of Pokemon (especially event Pokemon, and how they are almost always only in fucking Japan. That truly angers me more than anything else in this world)...

Wait, people are still talking about Ridley? I thought that was more of a joke by now.

Wii U - Super Smash Bros. for Wii U 50-Fact Extravaganza

More like 54-Fact Extravaganza, but that don't have the same ring to it, do it?

Anyway, this is fucking awesome. Just so much awesome.

I mean, just look at the size of the Great Cave Offensive stage... that thing is a fucking beast.

So, it seems that I cannot have good things when it comes to video games.

In order to get Mewtwo, as stated earlier, you have to register both versions of SSB4 to Club Nintendo (I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to make Mewtwo only available exclusively to people who do this, and not release it to those who don't).

Now, that's all fine n' dandy, since I have a Club account. My only problem? My copy of Smash 3DS is digital.

See, digital copies of games don't come with PIN's to register with; instead, if your Nintendo Network account is linked to your Club Nintendo account, the game then gets automatically registered (yes, it baffles me too that the Nintendo Network and Club Nintendo are separate things).

However, if your accounts aren't linked, then your digital games cannot be registered, and as far as I am able to tell, never can be. TO make things worse, you cannot link your account if you only have a 3DS and already have a Nintendo Network ID. You need to register your ID on a Wii U first, then link it to the 3DS! How wonderful for those people who don't have both! So now I have to not only buy a Wii U and it's version of SSB4, I now need to also buy another. physical copy of Smash 3DS to get that registered! YAY!

TL;DR, Nintendo is once again preventing me from having good things. The fuckers.

The exact same thing happened to me. Send Nintendo a support request and ask them to manually link it. It should show up on your Club Nintendo account within a few days.

I included the transaction number and date of the transaction with my support request, but they can probably see you bought it with just the 3DS serial number if that's all you've got.

Wherever he walks, the ground melts to ash. Everything he touches turns to dust. His presence is feared, his body round. He is a god of destruction. He is... death.

Behold, his terrible visage!

I played a bit of Smash Tour, and I can say with 100% authority that it is shit. Absolute shit. You get no control over what fighters you are given, or what kinds of customizations they have. Almost everything about the game is random, and it's overall mechanics are confusing and counter-intuitive.

Smash Run may have been difficult at times, but I could actually have fun playing it. Smash Tour is just an exercise in madness. Which is sad, because in almost every respect the Wii U version of Smash is superior to the 3DS version.

Basically, Smash Run is :awesome: while Smash Tour is :wth: :argh: :disgusted: Image
