Yes they added a wallet feature. I haven't used it myself, but it is a way to make paying for stuff easier. It looks like it is a way to avoid addition international fees and delays.

That is good for people like me who use pre paid credit cards you can get all ove the place over here. PaySafe card.
But they are only for set ammounts, so even if you finaggle around, you are likely to not use some non 0 ammount of the money you spent on the card.
With such a wallet, that problem gets mitigated.

Shadow Warrior is pretty fun. It's not quite Painkiller, and I think the enemies got a bit bullet sponge-y toward the end, but it's mostly an enjoyable bit of ultraviolence.

It's also funnier than the normal shooter. Our hero's name is Lo Wang, and he owns it. Shouting, "DON'T SCREW WITH ME IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE WANG!"and the like.

Yeah, Lo Wang is portrayed as this dorky guy who gets superpowers thrust upon him but remains dorky and awkward throughout. It is a surprisingly endearing portrayal, particularly considering that the writers were Polish and presumably not native English speakers. I cannot say that the actual plot made much of an impression on me, but the incidental storytelling was above average.

Dude, his name is wang purely for even more dumb dick jokes. Of course he still says dumb dick joke things about his name. Just like he does about his fucking gun that's called Boner.

Ultima 9 isn't that bad.

- Fully patched (the way I played it when I bought the French edition, which came much later than the English one but was fully patched), it doesn't suffer from the bugs it had on release.
- It's a pretty good Zelda. Combat is a bit simple, but the dungeons and puzzles are interesting.
- It still has the joy of exploration of Ultima 6 (and the spin-offs) and 7.

I agree that Ultima 7+2 (because Ultima 8 was already a disappointment) should have been much more than a PC Zelda game. I agree that it retcons stuff for no good reason and has a pretty poor plot (on par with most video games actually).

But I had a lot of fun with it and to me it's still a good game.

That video takes me back to the heady days when Doom was only a year old, and after me and my brother had tried out System Shock in a computer store we were convinced that every FPS game would have crouching, leaning, and adjustable camera angles in them (that would have to wait until Quake to even get Mouslook, and Q2 for crouching to be a mainstream game thing, I guess). This remake has some nice upgrades in terms of gameplay from the original as well, the in-game interfaces for keypads and wiring puzzles being built into the game world is a big one.
