OSSR Request Thread
Moderator: Moderators
Hello there. I've been lurking these forums for about an year now, and love the heated discussions.
Has there been a Legend of the Five Rings or Legend of the Burning Sands OSSR? I have played them for a while and am curious what is the Den's opinion about it.

@osu: Which version? There's been a (sadly unfinished) Legend of the Five Rings d20 monster manual that talked about the metagame/metaplot.

In short, your entire post is dismissive of not merely my intelligence, but my agency. And I don't mean agency as a player within one of your games, I mean my agency as a person. You do not want me to be informed when I make the fundamental decisions of deciding whether to join your game or buying your rules system.

I would like to see a review of either the Star Wars TTRPG or the original Mystara campaign setting. For great nostalgia!

I might do Mystara over Christmas.

Six items running at full blast through a well-engineered engine will put you, and something like 50 tons of cargo, into space. Alternatively, if you thrust sideways, you will briefly be a fireball screaming across the sky at mach 14 before you melt from atmospheric friction.

Since Robin Law comes up on these boards a lot, why not a review of his HeroQuest game written more than 15 years ago?

Even Dark Heresy isn't 10 years old.Heaven's Thunder Hammer wrote:Anyone up for an OSSR of FFG's WH40K Rogue Trader?
We've discussed DH and the 40k games a bit here. I have a lot of practical experience with long-running games and I came to hate the system. If I had it to do over again I'd just seriously consider cribbing SR4's dice pool system and making relatively minor adjustments to it.
This is why when DH 2nd edition decided to basically be Only War with a setting rehash it felt like curb-stomping babies, because if there's ever a system that needs to be burned to the ground and started over again, it's the 40k system.
