Which reminds me - there is no full review of the Epic Level Handbook around, is there? I don't know if you could really do this as a drunken review because there are just so many parts in ELH that need to be drowned in alcohol, but still...

I request the 2e elf book.

I might go through Time Lord sometime this weekend.

I also might do the Darksword RPG, but would need to reread the books. That's a lot of strain on my liver.

Taking a break for a bit, quitting before I get so tired of doing OSSRs that I don't want to do one ever again. Perhaps a week or two.

I will accept requests if someone makes one. Here's a list of things I am willing/able to do (although an interesting enough special request will be considered).

Lords of Madness
Fiendish Codex I and II
Heroes of Horror
Book of Vile Darkness (assuming that hasn't been done yet)
Exemplars of Evil
Elder Evils
Savage Species
Epic Level Handbook (Antariuk, if in a week's time this hasn't been done and I haven't gotten more votes for another option, I'll go ahead and do this one. I'll be getting paid so I'll pack extra booze)

-Any monster books, I have all of them because I love new monsters even when they're shit-

For Frank:

World of Species
Wraeththu: From Enchantment to Fulfillment

Wraeththu makes the elf book look tame.

Oh hell yes, but please with inclusion of the Savage Progressions article series, because it adds so very... well.

Another vote for Savage Species.

At some point, I'd love to see Heroes of Horror, but it looks like SS is winning the vote so far.

Okay, it looks like Savage Species is the winner. Allow me to express a hearty "fuck you, assbags" for requesting that ;p.

But seriously, I have a grudge against that book and I want to tear this book apart so bad my erection is grinding its teeth.

It's not that we hate you and wish the book upon you, everyone wants to hatefuck that book and you win the right to do so. Think of it as releasing your leash so you can charge at it, mouth frothing like a doberman who has just been told "That guy over there? He's the vet who took your balls."

I'd like to request a true old school classic. I don't really care who does it, or even which specific book you do. It's just something that gets talked about a lot on the board.

The request? Ravenloft. Which book doesn't really matter, whether it's the I-6 adventure or the Realm of Terror book. The Realm of Terror book has a pretty hilarious cover image, though.

I second this request.

As a long time Ravenloft fanboy, I would LOVE to see someone drop the hammer on one of the modules

I love the visuals of Ravenloft, I love many of the NPCs in Ravenloft, hell I even loved some of the new base classes (Like the dual-specialized necromancer/diviner). But even though I love reading gothic horror (and really they tried to get the point that Gothic writing is fueled by sadness rather than just throwing dark imagery and calling it a day), I don't want to play a game in that sort of world. The Strahd novels weren't bad for D&D novels (although the character names Tew Yssup in The War Against Azalin broke the mood for me).

I do have access to the Ravenloft Red Box from 1994. That contains the Realms of Terror book, the Domains and Denizens book, the weird deck of cards, the maps, and a DM's screen. I could do a Realms of Terror review, but if someone wanted to do a dual-review like the Factol's Manifesto, I'd be down for that too.

It would be great if you could find someone to be enthusiastic about it to pair with.

So, I'd be willing to do this with you. I'd have to secure a copy of the book. I'm not sure if you want my perspective or not: I've actually never read any Ravenloft outside of one 3E book (I can't remember what), and I've never played AD&D in any form. That might be a neat perspective to have on the whole thing, or it might just be bad -- let me know.

Also a proposition people would probably like reading: getting the "band back together" to have you and K do the review (or, really, any book you'd both love trashing on).

So since noone has done it yet and I actually own the book I thought "hey what the hell" Who wants to see me do a terrible review of the ELH/D20 joke book

I'm surprised it wasn't done before the wave of recent OSSRs. Go for it.
