I must have missed something since I don't read penny-arcade, but when it was first linked on this forum, I thought it was about D&D Next, what does it have to do with pathfinder?

That was PF's design and development MO. Put the rules out there to be tested and critiqued, then freak the fuck out about any actual testing and critique.

That comic is probably about Gabe's new game and the testing process for it (it's been mentioned in the news posts a few times now), exaggerated for laughs, not Pathfinder or DnD Next.

Oh, quite likely. But it's relevance to our past experiences adds another level to whole thing.

Much like Angel Summoner and BMX Bandit have absolutely nothing to do with D&D.
