Where would criminal means to acquire wealth, stuff like "identity theft" or "collectibles forgery" come into play with the rest of the wealth mechanics?

e.g.
Paper-based forging (cheques):

Forging printable collectibles:
http://www.cracked.com/personal-experiences-2472-i-made-obscene-money-forging-magic-gathering-cards.html?fref=gc

I guess "Robbing a Casino" (Ocean's Eleven (1960) & Ocean's Eleven (2001)), or "counterfeiting French banknotes" (Catch me if you can (2002)), or "stealing a lot of Bearer-Bonds" (Heat (1995)) would be higher tier means to acquire wealth directly. As opposed to strictly doing work for someone else; and getting paid what would be most cost-effective/profitable for them.

I'm also curious how one might adapt this idea to a current Shadowrun context? Really cool to see this topic, pity I missed it first time around. Not I had much to say, but it sounds like some of the ideas here I think Spycraft has done, like Cash on hand?
