Sent the email around 20-30 minutes ago, but haven't gotten a response yet. This is my first Llamaserver game, so I might have done something wrong.

It looks to be an issue on their end; bide and wait to see if it went through.

This is just to confirm that I've received a pretender file from you for C'tis in

nations which have signed up so far:

Agartha
Atlantis
Shinuyama
Abysia
C'tis

Server seems to be running ok now, though the game/pretender screen has not updated.

We should be good to go once Machaka is ready.

Okay, in light of C'tis unfortunate starting position, I'm restarting the game. Everybody send their pretenders back in.

Oh wow.

Other than that, btw, I really like this map.

Can someone link to an image of the map for spectators?

The U.S. isn't a democracy and if you think it is, you are a rube.

That's libertarians for you - anarchists who want police protection from their slaves.

I would have thought that province would have the #nostart tag.

Then again, for a sailing nation, or for a nation with amphibious troops, it could have been a good position.

In the restart there is no crown symbol on the little island, so clearly no one started there this time. Carry on.

Musings on the initial score graph ratings:
edit: revised re: turn 2 data

1) Only Abysia took a province first-turn. Either no-one else took an awake SC pretender, or if they did, something went terribly wrong.

2) Looks like Machaka and Agartha took Order 3. I'm just surprised they're the only ones.
edit: Nope, looks like they were just patrolling at home.

3) C'tis has the only magical research done first turn, so it looks like no-one else took an awake rainbow pretender. On the other hand, with no scale at all on the chart, that could be the research from their starting Empoisoner - we'll know next turn when there's more to compare it to.
edit: Yeah, that's a big awake research pretender.

4) Damnit.

I'm willing to trade gems for astral pearls. I'd prefer to exchange air for astral 1-1, with a present max of 5. Also, anyone have recommendations for fun early research goals for MA C'tis?

--------
Turns 1-2 (only open if you don't mind spoilarz)
A fairly nice start location in the northeast. I prophetize my starting commander and set pretender and mage to research. Enchantment for now.
Image
My pretender is built for magic diversity and an early research push. I hope to trade so that I can remotely site search later.
Image
Turn 2, and I get my first random event.
Image
A neighbor province looks weak, so I attack it with my slightly bolstered starting army. I send a marshmaster along to site search and bid most of my money on a mercenary group.

Raise Dead and Raise Skeletons are at Ench3, and all of your Marshmasters can cast them.

Turn 3
It seems that I succeeded at my bid on the mercenaries (about 60 over the asked 150) and my expansion attack.
Image
I recruit a high-end mage this turn, along with the most resource-heavy soldier. I launch a combined assault to the north with my 2 armies and site search with my marshmaster.

Agartha has water gems for sale; willing to trade for death or earth.

Turn 4
Expansion attack went well, fairly minor casualties. I somewhat regret giving up a marshmaster recruitment for more army gold, but I'm glad of the extra expansion potential.
Image
I didn't find anything with the site search, so I move the mage to the freshly taken area, which holds a library I might want to make use of when I can afford another lab.
Image
I bid on militia mercenaries hoping they'll soak up the lances of the province defenders to the southwest.
