I don't understand how it works.

If I enter in a URL between URL tags, it does not create a link.

Example: www.google.com

If I try to quote someone, the quote tags don't work:

Example:
Quote:
This is a quote.


I have similar problems with the bold and italics labels.

Any help would be appreciated!

There is a set of check boxes under your posts. One of them is "disable BBCode in this post". There is also a thingie in your profile where you can set that to be the default. I assume you clicked it accidentally at some point.
