VaeVictis, a Dom3 MP

Game Status Link

Players:
Abysia: Rabelais
Ashdod: K
Atlantis: angelfromanotherpin
Caelum: Akula
C'tis: Gnosticism_is_a_Hoot
Ermor: name_here
Jotunheim: Shiritai
Man: Ancient History
Marignon: FrankTrollman
Pangaea: tenuki
R'lyeh: Korwin
Ulm: Brasidas

Llamaserver seems to have very limited VP settings. Right now I have it set to 1 VP in capitals and 25 more scattered around, with 19 total needed to win. If anyone knows how to set that more specifically, let me know.

We are playing on the Bladelands map: http://www.llamaserver.net/wolfsbane/Bl ... s_v1_2.zip

Mail your Pretenders to pretenders[ at ]llamaserver[ dot ]net. Be sure to include the game's name in the subject line, which is VaeVictis.

The position of the admin is that treaties are only as binding as the pleasure of the participants makes them. However, there has been friction in the past regarding magical aggression vs troop aggression; be specific in your agreements on that matter.

8 of 13 pretenders are submitted...

Calibron stalled the last two turns in RevengeOfTheDen.
How long do we want for his pretender in this one?

I don't. He's way past deadline, I'm just going to start without him.

I, uh, forgot to write my disposable password down. Could I get it emailed somehow?

This is why I don't put a password on llamaserver games.

AFAICT, I have no access to any passwords that a player might have used. I don't know who might.

You could use the Master Password...

Is there a reason to ever use a pretender password?

If you're in a game where he trn files are shipped out in a big zip folder or all left on the same machine like in the Domination of the Den game, then putting a password on keeps people from succumbing to temptation to look at your turn.

So, is there any reason I shouldn't give Korwin the master password to check his turns? It's not like he even gets anyone else's turn files, right?

None I can think of. You should totally give him the master password.

Not me!
I don't use a PW for llamaserver games.
Name_here needs it.

So far, so good. Pyramid Scheme... INITIATED.

Also, time to mentally go over my anti-Ermor plans from my R'leyh game and think up countermeasures.

I incidentally note that Abysia appears to have stumbled into something nasty with their daring first-turn strike.

I was surprised that you prophetized a scout.

As Ermor you can buy a level 3 priest most turns, but level 4 priests are rare. In the long run, you'll have lots of skeleton cavalry, but few lictors.

Facepalm of the Day: If you want Pangaea's troops to attack a province in one move, you gotta send along at least one non-sneaky unit...

You can have an all-sneaky army attack in one move. After the basic command to move is given (which defaults to sneak) click on the commander's order and change it to the second occurrence of 'Move' on the list that comes up. They will then be attacking normally.
