My daughter arrived two weeks early, at 8:50 am (CST) this morning. She weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 19 inches long.

Remember that those two weeks of development happen whether she's in a womb or not. Two weeks lus or minus won't make any difference when she's 25, but don't get freaked out when she hits 6 week milestones at 8 weeks.

Maj is correct. Babies make the best toys. Every single day and year of her life offers you different pleasure. I'm sure you will love every single moment of it. For example, yesterday, I played knights and dragons with my girl and she made my dragon some Indian roti and some Salsa to eat. Better than humans she said.
Well, you'll find out the awesome-sauce fun that your own kids are every day.
