Hmm... I play with mostly guys. I feel more comfortable stabbing people in the face. Than pretenting stabbing the "guy" parts. Your miles may vary.
Maybe if I was gaming with pornstars, yeah... but then there are ulterior motive on my behalf. I suppose if it came down to having sex with another guy and stabbing another guy in the face. option 2 for the win.
Sex. It's just not a part of my characters narrative that needs to be fleshed out at the table. Now in a book someones writing? Then it has more traction.
Don't hate the world you see, create the world you want....
Dear Midnight, you have actually made me sad. I took a day off of posting yesterday because of actual sadness you made me feel in my heart for you.
...If only you'd have stopped forever...

Gods help you if your game runs on sex=rape.

I've ran in a game where the subject of sex was broached in a seduction between PC and NPC. We decided to skip by it and apparently later the GM and player RP'ed it

They were a guy and girl who've been pretty flirtatious. The rest of us were mostly amused.

But any game that has rape as component of sexuality should be avoided with prejudice. Its hard to run, awkward and you know someone is going to end up crying.

Oh, NOW you're pretending that our hawt XXX campaign session with the tentacle monsters and the flesh golems and the FATAL was traumatic? Don't play me like that; you loved it, you know you did.

Your freedom to add and change rules in the middle of the game is in direct conflict with my ability to understand that rules system before I decided whether or not to join your game.

In short, your entire post is dismissive of not merely my intelligence, but my agency. And I don't mean agency as a player within one of your games, I mean my agency as a person. You do not want me to be informed when I make the fundamental decisions of deciding whether to join your game or buying your rules system.

Maybe I did. Maybe it ended up with the lights being dimmed, hands going where they're not supposed to go, fumbled and awkward apologies, hand going where they're REALLY not supposed to go, a fistfight, the cops being called, a flimsy attempt to resume the game in a cell with Rollo the Mad Dog Rapist, then Rollo calling me a sick pervert who should be ashamed of myself and demanding a cell transfer. Maybe it didn't and I'm NOT CREEPY. :hatin:
