People who actually want to play the class and don't ascribe to your "It's high level, none of this bullshit matters" theory, like my friend who bitched about Storm Lord's Captain Planet ability, and by extension, the DM's who have to deal with them.

So, of course, the 20th level ability, too. This "win D&D" bullshit is annoying. Yes it's 20th level, yes the game's basically unplayable at that level, please don't make it more so with abilities that don't do anything. Some people actually want to (try to) play at them.

Tell him he's welcome for the 19 levels of awesome.

Though of course, I have been gravitating towards a new style for level 20, where they get super powerful godly abilities that are incredibly broken, but don't explicitly say stupid "Win the game shit" so that people can actually make a level 20 X, and appreciate the fact that it's level 20.

See: Double Companion for Force Potentate, Super transformation that makes the FoV basically invulnerable to everything, but still theoretically killable, and doesn't say "You win." anywhere.

If I ever get around to finishing Elemental Siphon, that's going to be cool.

Yeah, I know. He's a pain in the ass sometimes, but he's the only person I know IRL that gives a shit about D&D and doesn't make stupid house rules like flanking doesn't let rogues automatically sneak attack.

This is a much better tactic, because at least then I can say "Just go with it, it's fine." and when they argue say "It's fine" in the same tone I use for "Merfolk can breath air and turn their tails into legs" or the like when I'm running and someone starts to bitch.

For any future things I make, I'm going to stick with the traditional level 20 "Win the game" thing. Hell, I started the trend.

But for this, I'll go back and change the existing level 20 things to massive boosts and stuff, as well as some kind of flavour suggestion that they can totally choose to stop interacting with the game world if they want, so if the game ends there they can say "And then I go off and _____ for ever more."

Just to fit the other Favoured Souls. I'm leaving in that level 19 ability though, because it's funny.

Eh, it's something. If anyone actually ever plays it (ie, that friend who bitched about Storm Lord because he practically has a hard on for dragons. And especially Bahamut. Because he's the prettiest and LG or something, I don't know.) I'll make up something about summoning platinum dragons or some shit.

Favored of Pelor... at 10th level... get's cleric - 2 casting.

Isn't that a bit much? I guess being a spell level behind helps the balance, but that just seems like it's undermining the rest of the class. After this, you might as well just be a cleric.

That's cohort-level casting, for what it's worth. It -could- be further behind, maybe.

Actually Int is dump stat for dragons (not to mention there is no smart played/portrayed dragons, their Int is just for skill points) and also dump stat for favoured soul. May be + Con?

I generally assume that any Favoured Soul is the same sex as their deity (and any other character is female, same as I play). That said, yes, guys totally get the bonus for wearing make-up.

Unlimited spellcasting resources? I don't see an exact mention, but that seems like the intention (especially given the hugely restricted number of spells known). Does Expanded Knowledge or similar work for the FSoWJ?

Koumei, that is the worst class I have ever seen in my entire life, and I've seen the PHB Monk.

First of all, I know you have your fetishes, and you can't prevent yourself from adding every little thing that titillates you to your classes, but fuck. Add your fetishes to the class, don't use them instead of the actual fucking class.

Wee Jas is the goddess of "Magic, Death, Vanity, and Law." Note that this is not "Vanity, Vanity, Vanity, Vanity." I see no death at all, no law except an arbitrary Law domain, and the only magic is that the class casts better than a Gestalt Wizard/Druid.

Which leads directly to your balance.

Think about what you are doing.

Even if you have no domains at all for the entire class, you still made a class with a level 1 ability called "You have Expert Access in four spheres, only you get to pick every spell in every sphere, the DM can't say no, and you can dumbster dive off every list in the game, and get things like buffs, that are usually denied to spheres."

I made a class that could cast spells at will, and had serious drawbacks, for example, about 1/8th the spells known as this class, or even fewer, and the ability to only have a fews spells active at a time, and it was still the most powerful class I've ever made, and roundly insulted by everyone.

Your class is fucking crazy sauce.

Even without domains at all, you still have a level 5 Wee Jas that has at will Stinking Cloud, Wall of Stone, Dimension Door, Haste, Glitterdust, Web, Mage Armor, Shield, Color Spray, and Protection from Alignment.

And because they have those at will, it means they have Haste, and protection up at will on the whole party all the time.

And it only gets worse, because you seriously get four new spells at will every 2 levels.

I'm not sure about 'bonus' word. In our game company immunity to mind-affecting is considered a drawback because it forbid you to receive morale bonuses.

as far as I know, in D&D morale bonuses are not tagged with "mind affecting," and I'm not sure whether Immunity traits in D&D renders you unaffected by beneficial affects.

Finally, I'm not sure Tome uses a lot of "morale" bonuses, as it tries to cut down on RNG destroying bonus type bloat.

Morale effects, as far as I remember always have Mind Affecting descriptor.
And in terms of DnD immunity means immunity to positive effects too.

nothing about it being mind affecting.

Well, you may try to find morale effect without mind-affecting descriptor. Bardic Musics, and heroism-like spells are mostly mind-affecting.
