This is even funnier if I picture him saying it to Donald Trump.

I'm waiting on a 'deather' movement to spring up, who won't believe bin Laden's dead until they see 'proof'.

"Where's the death certificate?"
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Why'd they throw him into the sea?
Did they have something to hide?

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

A sloppy reading of Islamic regulations with an additional problem of not wanting to get into the same trouble they got with the sons of Saddam Hussein when they kept them on ice for a few days. Instead of having to decide who should get the body (and as a result creating a potential holy site for future martyrs) they just spotted the burrial at sea option (which really didn't apply, although tell that to a NAVY SEAL) and used it.

Sadly, I have a friend at work who was already saying that yesterday. She's not even saying it in the sense of "why's it look so suspicious", but rather "it didn't happen". I don't know how she can be so certain, but I just don't feel like getting into it with her.

Other than this, we pretty much have a strict no-politics clause on our conversations.

I'm trying to find any published proof to support that it was Bin Laden. There seems to be a dna test finding but the actual test results haven't been made public. I can see the credence behind requesting proof of death. At least in the birther idiocy, there existed published proof that Obama had a birth certificate. In this story, I see nothing aside from the govt told us so it must be true.

Well, they released dead body photos, but apparently that doesn't count.

Snopes linked to this site, saying it's a shop. They show both photos separate, and then the combined result.

Good point. I had assumed that the photo circulated by the Pakistani media had been given to them by the US government. Apparently not.

They might have put one together to be able to print something? Yellow Journalism alive and well in Pakistan.
The US is saying that they're still trying to decide whether or not to release the pictures.

Well, al-Qaeda says he's dead. And there's a tape circulating--something he made in the event of his death.

So, uh, yeah.

Again, hearsay and circumstantial evidence.

Just because someone brings out a will when a guy disappears doesn't mean the guy is actually dead.

I figure they wouldn't try that because if they're lying Bin Laden will show up at some point in the future and make them look like idiots. Apparently they didn't release pictures because the pictures are kind of gruesome on account of being shot in the head. They'll probably release them at some point, or if there's an alleged Bin Laden tape from after his death.

Anyhow, apparently Islamic law says people need to be buried within 24 hours, and I guess they grabbed a chaplain who was somewhat familiar with the procedure to (mis)handle it.

And then we should turn it into an animatronic puppet for use in our haunted houses, but not before sawing off the head and letting Jeff Dunham take it on the road with a new act, right? I see a lot of potential there for gags about Akhmed talking to Dead Osama.

What the fuck do they want, a road tour of the body? Well, fuck I guess the first idiot does, along with a wacky photo op or something... But... fuck, seriously?

Clearly they should have set up a special museum where people can go and pay to have their photo taken with the corpse. Prove he's dead AND fix the economy, all in one action, bam!

Brietbart is seriously a troll, he'll run with any story that's damning to the democrats, it doesn't matter if it's true or false. It is appalling that he is considered a journalist, but he is what journalism may be becoming.

If Seal Team Six had kept the body and flown it to NYC whre it was put on public display ... these same jackholes would then complain about Obama being unamerican because the body wasn't being shot out of a canon, or ritualistically mutilated and carved into pieces given to the relatives of 9/11 victims.

I'm really not comfortable with the crazy amount of memes popping up glorifying killing him. Taking Bin laden out is justifiable. But do we need to jump up and make shirts and really cruel image memes glorifying it?

I have to agree. It makes little sense to have wanted a man dead yet at the same time keeping his memory alive by constantly gloating over his death. (Especially since the last thing we want is to stir up his forces/supporters/those sitting on the fence.) We won, he lost; we need to deal with that.

And remember, back in 1945 Hitler wsan't going all "Yes, FDR died, those Americans are all toast now." (Hitler killed himself 13 days after FDR.) Neither did Japan have much cause for rejoicing.

Number 2 is still in action. The "war" is not over until they stop shooting at us.
