Unreliability...

I've been having trouble getting tgdmb.com to answer reliably. Every day there will be some hours where I just don't get an answer back. Today it was unavailable until noon. I'm on Comcast.

Yep. We're looking into it. And by "we" I mean Neil. ;)

It's been off line for up to nine hours every day for the last several days

We're not any happier about it than y'all are.

Yep, the server has been sucking a big barrel of cocks recently. Neil is investigating the causes.

I don't know about Neil's status, but we had a huge storm this weekend that knocked out our power twice.

Clearly, your cock is part of the big barrel the server's busy sucking on.

Can someone tell it to stop using its teeth please?

Congratulations. My keyboard is now decorated with my dinner.

Just following up a bit...

Have things been better lately? I haven't noticed problems here or on Nifty, but I'm not around 24/7. So I wanted to make sure that what I'm seeing (better reliability) is what everybody else is seeing.

Thanks.

It's been a little unreliable for me, but it often works if I just manually enter "www.tgdmb.com" rather than try to use my favorites link for it.

Then again, maybe I've just been at work/asleep when it's doing this junk.

We were just down for a bit again today. My apologies. Neil is looking into the cause and - ultimately - the solution.

Apologies for the downtime. Nail is working to resolve the problem on a more permanent basis.

No need for apologies, you're the ones doing the work to keep the Den running.

Could not connect to the databasePHP Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: User phpbb_tgdmb has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections in G:\Domains\tgdmb.com\wwwroot\db\mysql4.php on line 48
When attempting to load a thread. F5 fixed it.

Also seen the same error as the previous poster when editing my sig, and when trying to post this.

I got it twice today, but it went away fairly quickly. I think I just waited a minute or so before I tried again.

I've had times when the site won't load, but today I finally got an error message:
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database PHP Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: User phpbb_tgdmb has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections in G:\Domains\tgdmb.com\wwwroot\db\mysql4.php on line 48
I hope that helps.

Occasionally at the bottom of pages I get this, in Times New Roman:

Error in my_thread_global_end(): 1 threads didn't exit

Not really sure what that means.

Ever since the move, I've continuously received this when I clock on a link:

If your browser does not support meta redirection please click HERE to be redirected

It does, and so it redirects just fine, but more than half the time, it adds the same error mean liar got before sending me to the correct page.

Weird.
