Emo-Dark Adventurer Types

Post by Judging__Eagle »

The protagonists:

Art'terrax - ??? Ancient one (human) Wizard 9/Conduit of the Planes [Acheron] 1/Stranger with the Burning Eyes 1

He's a freaking golden bracelet with sapphires studded inside of it.
-Magic Jar at will
-Bunch of bodies
-No redundant bodies (yet)

'Charlie' - Malenti 2/Vampire/ Barbarian 9
-Wears full body adamantine armour (that looks like a Sahuagin)
-Doesn't carry weapons
-Has Lifedrinker enchanted into each gauntlet of the armour; punches things or claws at them.

Xyb - Aasimar Monk 11
-Fiend Feats
-4 arms
-Filth Fever Carrier
Fighting Styles
-Air Walk/Shoot Fire
-Get Concealment, make enemies helpless on a failed save

Ebolla - Succubus 7/[True Fiend or Conduit]
-Charm Monster
-Not Charm Wizard
-Doesn't have spellcraft (so far)

'Redcap' - Redcap 2/ Samurai 9
-Uses a Scythe (really effective, since it's a x4 weapon); Scythes are the weapon described in the Redcap description in MM3. The player hasn't played D&D since the mid 90's, and even then, they played a "lolcharge" fighter in 2e.
-Parry Magic is made of win

Nuoc - Scorpionfolk 7/Monster of Legend 2/Death Knight 2
-Counts as 'huge'
-Carries two big swords
-Can carry or lift just about anything. Like, most castle portcullis.

"the half dragon" - Half-Dragon 3/Conduit of the Planes X [hasn't played yet]

Missions have included:

-Something, something. Oh yeah, fight Fire Giants, get shot by siege engines; storm a guard-fortress; sneak into a war camp, kill the enemy leader

-Deal with a great Wyrm Brass Dragon [this was an implied 'hiring' NPC], go to the elemental plane of water

-Recover a Staff of Fire from a Wereboar Hill Giant

-Deal with some Derro building a Deathgate; first PC death so far.

The Gaming Den; where Mathematics are rigorously applied to Mythology.

While everyone's Philosophy is not in accord, that doesn't mean we're not on board.
