This guy worked as a forensic scientist for the San Francisco Police until he was assigned to a case investigating the Black Hand. He recovered an energy weapon from their hideout, but in studying it, nuked his lab, killing everyone inside, even himself. However, he was able, doctor Manhattan-style, to rebuild himself as an energy being.
The catch is that he doesn't know he's dead. He used Mask of a thousand faces ON HIMSELF to convince himself he's still him, rather than a blue energy field. He uses telekinesis to open doors before going through them, to stuff food into his body, and so on. He was moved "for his security" to a secret lab staffed by FBI agents who are in on the Masquerade, where he continues to work as a forensic scientist. For some reason, it doesn't bother him that the conclusions he draws from his blood samples are scientifically impossible.
He is subject to frequent fugue states during which he drifts through the walls of the city, spying on families and criminals unseen, before "waking up" to his human delusion unsure how he got where he is. During times of stress -- such as when a fear frenzy takes him--he realizes what he is, and uses his powers to escape or destroy the opposition. Once he has been alerted to his true nature, he becomes emotionless and inhuman, devoted only to the pursuit of an abstract ideal of justice and the desire to unravel mysteries. This persona uses Trail of Tears to evoke despair in the perpetrators. Eventually, however, he reverts to his delusions.

Session One: Dead Ex.
Only the Doctor and the Golem were here. The storyline:
Shen the Beast , the WCL quartermaster, had an item shipped to him--the fetters of an Elder Wraith named Cassandra. It was supposed to be picked up by a young Daeva named Running Wolf in a warehouse on the docks. Everything went wrong. A change in the shipping schedule lead to the hand-off going down during the day. A dockworker in the pay of the Order of Marduk tipped off his cell, who were hiding out on the beach. However, near their house was a cave in which a young Revenant was hiding out. A passing Soulless attacked and converted the spy. Confused and enraged, he wandered back to the warehouse and punched through the wall, allowed sunlight to weaken Running Wolf. In the confusion, Marduk thugs stole the fetters.
Boris the Golem heard about the damaged warehouse, stealthed in, swiped the timesheets and discovered a worker was missing. Meanwhile, Cosmos was contacted by Mistress Matisse, a Baali War Minister in charge of anti-King of Three Shadows operations. She suspected (wrongly) their involvement and asked them to investigate. Cosmos also stealthed the warehouse and took samples.
Thaumaturgical forensics told him that Soulless had attacked, and that a Daeva was wounded but not killed. The Golem conjured the spirit of the dead worker and found out about the Marduk hideout. He pulled satellite data from his FBI contacts and they went to the beach house. Cmosmos stelathed in through the walls and eavesdropped on a half-dozen Conditioninged Marduck Thugs. They were waited for one Mr. Qung to pick up the package. Meanwhile, the Golem set up a sniper rifle and trained it on the door, but mist rolled in off the sea, foiling his visibility. As soon as it thickened, a car rolled up and parked off in the mist. The Golem located it with his Supernatural Senses and attached a tracking device.
Meanwhile, the driver went into the house, accepted a package, and got back in his car. Cosmos was going to try to stop him, but at the time I thought Obscuring Mist was supposed to weaken Transhumans, so Cosmos had no way to fight. They watched him drive off.
They followed him to the UCSC campus and watched him park around behind a dorm. He knew he was being followed, so he just sat in the car while mist gathered around him. They decided to jump him before it got thick enough to weaken Cosmos. They approached, and in a 3 round combat, Mr Qung took out the golem with Quickness and Lightning Bolts. He he Advanced Fortitude, and the golems light pistols, despite attacking 4 times per round, were doing only 0-1 damage each time. However, he weakened the bad guy enough that Cosmos could finish him just by beating him with telekinetic punches. (Cosmos wasted his first attack smashing the guys door in, since I believe Lightning Bolts can be cast from behind cover). They retrieved the package, and took it home for analysis.
Examining Mr Qung's body, they discovered with dismay that he had been possessed by an Elder Deep One, but necromancy revealed that he had been a skinhead and a Marduk thug, so they didn't feel too bad. They took his body with him and had Cosmos perform the official autopsy.
I awarded 3 cards: +1 Technical skill, +1Any and learn a language. Cosmosm took a +1 Medicine, Boris a +1Stelath, and nobody bid on the language.
Notes: If Cosmos can use melee weapons with telekinesis, he should be a *lot* more dangerous and the fight should get over sooner. Also, if you have only one combat per session, Edge is really strong and people take forever to die.
