I hate group-breakers!

Yeah, this is a rant.
So, I've been playing this game for a month... Spent alot of time making character classes for the DM, who doesn't have much time to play, but has similar tastes to mine.
There's this other character. The Mage. Day one I knew this character would be trouble - they started the game by hiding from the group in the corner under their cloak. Too scared to talk. Not the player, the character. This character then clung to another character, refused to spend silver for a good inn after taking up a session complaining about how unsafe the bad inn was... Oy. Anyhow, set up session, travel session, backgrounds done...
The next game session, we get to our first combat. The Mage plays out 'ickyickyicky' and while taking out half the monsters, plays this out the whole time. A couple in-game encounters later they get the first magic loot.
Said loot was a cursed amulet the GM designed for their character to tie them into the story. They 'heard voices' telling them to 'do bad things'.
Fast forward to catching some bandits a day from one of our travel goals. The other players (mostly me) decide to tie the bandits up, check our goal out, then march back to town.
...The Mage takes the first watch, and uses some spells plus intimidate - she almost fails there, having to resort to another spell - to make the bandits flee in terror.
So on second watch, noticing the bandits are gone, my character tells the mage to hand over the cursed amulet, or the rest of the party will be woken and told this happened now. A scuffle ensues, the amulet is taken, puts a nice hefty curse on my character for being less than careful, and the party is woken anyhow.
Without the bandits, we make our way the less-than-a-day hike to our goal on this trip. The mage refuses to interact with my character, despite my character having been baleful polymorphed and basically, useless to the party except as a scout. Which is good, because that's what we need.
Two sessions later, the Paladin decides to break into the Temple we've come across, because it's to some demon or other that's way out of our league, but hey, there's no followers here, it's not spooky or anything? My character had been 'fixed' by praying to this demon - the amulet had something to do with finding the temple. So the Paladin gets cursed this time. ...And the Mage runs away from the party, deciding that's good roleplay, and the most logical thing their character can do at that point, as the party flees from the trapped temple.
We spend the rest of the session looking for the mage. My character finds them first, because they've made a fire and weren't covering their tracks anyhow. The mage decides they still don't like my bully of a character, and so begins to fire crossbow bolts at her. My character asks her not to, has suffered fatigue damage (at the Mage player's insistence, it was a good call...), and refuses to fight. After being shot twice and magic missiled, my character fights back.
...And then the mage player starts arguing that I can't use grapple to stop them from casting spells, because that isn't fair. That I can only choose one thing from a grapple, and if I opt to do damage or disarm the crossbow, I can't then continue the grapple and stop them from casting unless I pin... And yelling about 'it's your PvP fascination!' and such.
The game kinda just ended up in yelling after that; the DM and I asking why the mage's player wouldn't conceive or tell us about other things OOCly we could do to move the story along, me arguing that I'm not rule-lawyering, I'm just using the maneuver as written, because to not to would mean the mage could just continue blasting my character with impunity. Oh, and being yelled at for 'stealing' two sessions ago, and 'this was the result!' and I should 'thought about it first!'
Ugh. You'd think if someone had some bullying trigger, they'd have said so OOCly when the /first/ argument happened weeks ago.
