To all who contributed: I am so very sorry.

While trying to, by request, seperate out the Gaming Den History stuff from the Welcome Thread, I forgot to a leave a copy of the thread in the Admin forum. Thus, after pruning the History stuff out of the Welcome thread, I had no original Welcome thread to prune the welcome stuff out of so I would have a History thread.

I am very sorry about this. You guys are welcome to recreate it if you like. Highlights included:

[*]Frank's telling of why he left Nifty.

[*]Frank's telling of why he got booted from WotC. (I had never heard that version, Frank. It was interesting.)

[*]Digestor, having found out Frank's political leanings, initiating stage one of a mating ritual with Frank.

[*]Frank and Digestor deciding who would be on top.

I never had the chance to read the thread myself. I've been so busy grading my students' exams and preparing myself for my own exams. I'd love it if you guys could dig it up again.

Here are all the pages of the welcome thread cached in google, except the last one.

I really appreciate it. I've searched google and it is quite possible that I'm missing something, but I think everything's been updated on google.

With the Work Offline function and History, I have that last page on the thread up until Frank's post about the "don't ask, don't tell" policy (er, the WOTC one, heh...), if it's needed. (It might be because I've been up for too long, but I can't figure out if the threads on Weasel's link are the right ones or not. >_>

That would help. How can I get to it? Can you link it?

No problem. :] I'm just glad to help out (and also glad that I read this thread at work and thus still had the safe archive at home, heh).

Next time something like this happens, fbmf... Try checking the trash can in the admin panel (you need to be in regular mode to see it).

Tried it. Apparently that only catches deleted threads, not individual posts.
