Half vote for going across the bridge, because it sounds like interesting trouble.

I'd like to see what's across the bridge.
Re: [Let's Play] Sorcery Warrior 1 - The Shamutanti Hills
The path winds up and over the hill and you stop and marvel at a grassy verge in which are growing some of the most beautiful and delicate flowers you have ever seen.
You follow the path carefully downwards, trying to avoid breaking branches as you go.
Stop to eat?
Press on?
This early in the day, at full Stamina, I'm assuming you'll press on.
You continue along the trail and the undergrowth around you gets thicker. Suddenly there is a cracking beneath your feet and something gives way underfoot.
You may Test your Luck to avoid whatever it is, or choose not to Test your Luck.

We are at full luck, so yeah, test luck in case it's something worse than a stamina loss.

You Test your Luck; an 11 fails.
Too late, you try to leap clear of the pitfall trap which has opened beneath you. You drop some three metres into the pit and collapse unconscious in a heap.
When you regain consciousness, you are bound hand and foot. The excited jabberings of a small group of HEAD-HUNTERS around you makes you fear for your life.
The men carry you off and soon you arrive at the Head-Hunter camp. There is much commotion as you are led into the centre of the settlement. Several Head-Hunters rush off to fill a large pot with water to be heated over the fire--the implications of which you do not relish! Meanwhile, you are put into a bamboo cage, guarded by a strong warrior.
Pray to Libra?
Do not?

"Dear Libra, I got a Whammy when I Pressed my Luck. I am therefore asking for your help to get me out of this situation. You have my word that I will not call for your help again until I reach Khare."
I vote to pray to Libra, to remove any confusion, as I am pretty sure this is a fatal scenario otherwise.

Re: [Let's Play] Sorcery Warrior 1 - The Shamutanti Hills
You plead with your goddess--but nothing happens! You try again, but she appears not to be listening. A short time later, your captors bundle you out of your cage and towards the large pot warming over the fire. Three of them pick you up and heave you into the water, which is now uncomfortably warm. Then it happens...
Dark clouds rumble in low over the camp. When they are directly overhead they release a torrential downpour which douses the fire and cools your bath. Your bindings slide loose and you are able to scramble from the pot. Libra has not ignored you! The Head-Hunters, sensing something supernatural, have scattered into the woods and you are now able to escape. But you may not call upon Libra again until you have reached Khare.
You collect your belongings and run off into the woods.
For half an hour you run before you stop to rest, when you realize that you are now hopelessly lost. Roll a die; the result is a 1. You continue uphill until you reach a path.
You press on, climbing up the hillside for several hours until you are not far from the top. Then you hear a faint sound of bustling activity. Tramping feet, grunting voices and the clanking of metal against rock make you stop and listen. You decide to leave the path and continue cautiously through the woods. A short distance onwards you hide behind a tree and survey a clearing ahead. A number of GOBLINS are in the clearing, in front of an open cave. It appears as though they are mining the cave as they trudge in and out of the opening, carrying large bowls full of glistening rocks and dull metallic nuggets.
Slip into the cave to see whether you can find anything of value?
Ignore the mine and slip around the side to a path leading onwards and down the far side of the hill?

Investigate random things.
Re: [Let's Play] Sorcery Warrior 1 - The Shamutanti Hills
You creep closer, round the side of the hill, to the entrance of the cave. You seize your chance when all is quiet to nip inside and hide in the shadows. Following the passage cautiously, you come to a junction.
Go left?

The passage continues until you reach a large stone-cut door blocking your progress.
Try the door handle?
Go back to the junction and go the other way?

The Goblin senses your defiance and rises, with a large stone club in his hand.
GOBLIN Skill 7 Stamina 6
Jason Beckett Mordred Attack Strength: 16, GOBLIN Attack Strength: 9. GOBLIN's Stamina is 4
Jason Beckett Mordred Attack Strength: 20, GOBLIN Attack Strength: 17. GOBLIN's Stamina is 2
Jason Beckett Mordred Attack Strength: 22, GOBLIN Attack Strength: 16. GOBLIN is dead.
There is little in the room of value, but the dead goblin wears a silver key around his neck. Vote on whether to take it with you and whether to proceed through the door ahead or go back the way you came.
