Batman's chin will be the only thing visible on a dark night. If his body looks the way it was illustrated, he should have to grow a beard to go out in polite company.

once or twice in the comics he's explained that "I can't armour my head, why do you think I put a big target on my chest?"

Of course as of Dark Knight, he does have an armoured head. But it's not like the criminals he fights are (usually) sharpshooters, so they're going to aim for center body mass, assuming they're not just pissing themselves where they stand.

Also, when you have a knife, the head is actually a reasonably poor target, I think, due to this thing known as a Skull.

Yeah, I know a guy who got stabbed in the chest, and because the knife (shiv) hit his sternum, it wasn't that serious.

I dunno about that...while trying to stab a guy right on the top of his head is pretty stupid (did you hear me, Stephen Seagal?), the head area is actually a decent target for a knife, because it includes the delightful subsets of:

--face (great for inflicting pain, which helps stop fights)
--eyes (besides being incredibly easy to damage and blind your opponent, they are a target that it's virtually impossible not to flinch/guard when someone attacks them; not to mention, straight stab to the eyesocket is pretty much a kill)
--throat (chock full of killing points...jugular, carotid, windpipe)

how many young punks do you think are hard enough to actually think about that while Batman's kicking the crap out of them? Also Batman will know all that, and defend against all of it...

So... yeah, makes perfect sense to me that his face isn't covered in scars. The same way you're generally going to do whatever you can to defend against a save or die, he does whatever he can to keep the knife from getting anywhere near his face.

...We've gone rather far afield here, shall we consult a map or lay new course?

Sex within the party. If there are example PCs, is it reasonable to have two or more of them having sex with each other, or even having a romantic relationship as canon? I don't think you're going to get many people liking halflings having sex in general (too close to kiddy porn), but something like Tordek and Mialee? (examples used because they're the only ones I can remember right off except Lidda)

Can you get away with having sexual relationships, or would Jozan have to marry them first to stop a lot of bitching about fornication? Or would this be too close to bad erotic fanfiction.

On the other hand, that may have existed solely in Pg13 fan slash on the Wizards boards...
