Most McDonald's food is just warmed up to be served. Its partially or totally cooked before it's shipped to the stores. So honestly, not really an issue.
'Freshly cooked' isn't really an experience people have with it.

So, I've got someone in my apartment complex accusing me of hitting their car with "something metal I pulled out of my pocket." Saying they have video of me doing it. They've talked to Corporate. Corporate kicked it down to complex management. Of course no one has seen this fucking video.
*sigh*
Yep. That's my fucking life.
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

You should gain sanity for finding out that the problems of a region are because there are fucking monsters there.

Doubtful. Based on my experience with McDonald's, leaving it sitting somewhere for an extended period of time doesn't change it in the slightest. Also, just the sight of the "food" can frighten dogs.
I've tried it since and it's considerably worse when it has been sitting around. "Fresh" is a loaded term in the fast food industry but things generally don't get better the more times they've been reheated.
I'm starting work as a game design lecturer, mostly video games. Hoping I can get the university to implement their RPG design class so I can teach it!
The program's based off of Seattle's Digipen, which was developed in cooperation with Nintendo of America in Seattle.

Congratulations! This sounds awesome.

If I wasn't an idiot, I'd try to start a diabetic friendly food bank when I get out of this tight spot. It's all grains and carbs, with the occasional canned veggie and frozen meat. Not going to bite the literal hands that feed me but it'd be nice to be below 200 again without fasting for a few days.

I could ask, I'm always afraid of being seen as an ingrate. With luck they'll have "lots of tasty veggies and protein" diabetic foid and not "sugary foods with weird chemical replacing the sugar". Man I miss fresh vegetables.

Yeah. We've been there. We never encountered anyone who treated us badly, though I'm sure they must be out there somewhere. All of the people who worked at any social service we've needed to use wanted to make sure the help they provided was the help we needed. I hope that they treat you the same way. And good luck with the food. Fresh veggies are hard to get a hold of in winter.
So... Ess and I work for a property management company, and part of my job is keeping tabs on all the vacant properties. We've had trouble with one particular Chinese owner who doesn't respond to requests to make repairs or secure the houses... And we've recently found out why: Agenda 21.
Apparently, Agenda 21 is not, in fact, a long-term plan to make growth and planning sustainable. It is, instead, a plan wherein the US government is going to foment a new civil war, use its weather machines on its citizens, and seize private property (among other things). So all the houses this owner has are just sitting and rotting because of this conspiracy theory.
I have no idea. But the squatters aren't much better. The last vacant house (not owned by aforementioned Chinese dude) some squatters were in took some mega water damage when the sink backed up and they just left the water running and got out. Eighteen inches of water went through the floor and into the basement. We caught it because the water bill was too high.
This might be bullshit as I'm getting this off an unlisted porn board on 4chan but supposedly the guy that now runs 4chan has put in some nasty code that forces your computer to mine bitcoins. I couldn't tell you how that works or makes sense, and someone may be pulling it out of their ass but in case it's true, you've been warned.

The Pirate Bay did it a while back, people were pretty pissed off, but it does make a sort of sense in a world of adblock. I'm okay with it so long as the miner only runs when I'm on the site. Not so much if it's just malware that gets on your computer and doesn't leave.

Reddit's even got the best of 4 chan on r/greentext.

I seriously hope you guys don't actually do this. But yeah, there are malicious ads on 4chan that kill lesser adblockers, ruin the CSS if you have a good one, and inject a bitcoin miner.

Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.
Yeah, we don't go to Ravenholm 4chan anymore. Enough of the content filters out to cleaner sites that there's really no draw, and I'm beyond the point in my life where I'm willing to settle for their brand of social interaction.

Sadly/funnily enough, /tg/ is still one of the only places to discuss elfgames in a mechanical sense, since Something Awful stopped doing game jams.
