Specifically b/c I recalled a DS9 ep. where Worf mentioned "We don't talk about this with outsiders" when looking up what Roddenberry had to say about pluralism in ST.

I didn't realize FO's "General Atomics" was based on an actual company. I thought it was just a clever example of FO's 1950's aesthetic.

... These 2nd generation gods remind me of the 777,777 black & white god-children of Yis/un from Kill Six Billion Demons. Although their faceless nature seems more like that of the stone carapaces that the "Primal Angels" possessed to serve the 777,777.

That entry isn't up-to-date, there's been a second chapter. I really like the premise, although I'm concerned that the writer's starting to overcomplicate it.

The fact that Laserbeak is the Kingmaker... makes me think of how the role of Decepticon leader seems a lot more like a mythic figure of a religious pantheon. Comics tend to skew towards the cartoon and mythic I guess.
