This is an edit of the D&D5e artificer right? Things like alchemy being rolled in and the satchel are the same. My criticism would be he sticks too closely to the 5e artificer. I figure that was the explicit goal, so my analysis may not be very useful.

Like... why split up alchemy, projectile shooter, and drone crafting? Why have regular wizard-type magic to cast spells starting off and only get infusions later? What I'd hope for in a class that can brew/build/channel is using something like essentia points to split between infusing stuff (be they vials, swords, or bullets) with magic or animating stuff, if your friend could get that running for 5e that'd be real neato.

I'd also suggest using an image of a dude with a little construct for the art instead of a potion guy, when I think "Artificer" I think building things more than brewing.
