That cat must be one hell of a hunter.
Is this wretched demi-bee
Half asleep upon my knee
Some freak from a menagerie?
No! It's Eric, the half a bee

That sort of thing is exactly the reason I have a cat.
"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

Because you like waking up to Lovecraftian horrors being dropped on your face?

If humans responded to threats by killing and eating the offender, we'd do fine too. Wait...

A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

Today as a prank, I copied the Dill Doe over to my husband's desktop, opened it up full screen, and just left it there. He laughed so hard his ribs hurt.
My son makes me laugh. Maybe he'll make you laugh, too.

Females of some species of deer have antlers. [edit] Further googling tells me that it's mostly reindeer/caribou where the females typically have antlers - but sometimes a female of other species will grow them, too

...and I suddenly have a use for my Christmas lights.
I imagine they're less comfortable than silk ropes though and you'd want to be a bit careful about the bulbs you choose. To the hardware store!
