Puppy-boiling Saturday morning cartoon villain Ann Coulter was on the panel for the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe. How that turned out was a surprise to absolutely no one, save for Ann Coulter:

The most dangerous game is man. The most entertaining game is Broadway Puppy Ball. The most weird game is Esoteric Bear.

Wait, why did Twitter shut down Vine?
Is this wretched demi-bee
Half asleep upon my knee
Some freak from a menagerie?
No! It's Eric, the half a bee

Because no one was using it. People were using Twitter's video embedding instead. Also, it became obsolete once Twitter gained the ability to embedd video.

While it was a very creative tool, business wise it had some problems

You can find more about it here:

Ah. That's not as salacious a reason as I was hoping.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

It's totally not a joke.

They're making an extremely decadent coffee table book containing nothing but pictures of Apple products and selling it for 67 cents per page.

I just had a conversation (on the internet) with someone who claimed to be a lawyer (I don't believe him, see if you can tell why) where he originally said that Lawrence v. Texas was an inevitable outcome of Griswold, so RBG and Breyer deserve no credit as pro-gay for voting correctly in it, and then later said that assisted suicide could never be found to be legal as an extension of griswold because suicide is a crime, and Griswold has nothing to do with crimes.

Now, the number of problems with that are legion, starting with the fact that "Griswold v. Connecticut" means it was about Griswold being tried for a fucking Crime, (I mean, maybe in a specific kind of civil case, pre-Scalia being a shit, but even then you would probably get a state agency or agent caption,) How the fuck do you argue, within 10 minutes of each other, that decriminalizing gay sex is an inevitable extension of griswold, but that decriminalizing suicide can't be because it's about decriminalizing?

To be fair, I'm sure I could find Supreme Court rulings that made as much sense as that.

Well I mean, sure, but Scalia is lying. This guy was just an idiot.

Which was another criticism I gave, before he went mega stupid. If you think the Supreme Court does law without politics, you are ignorant as fuck about the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile in Russia: Hunger Games edition. And yes, this is the real idea he has. However there's been no new information since November, so hopefully it has been canned.

This seems to be a case of hype.
"Everything is allowed. Fighting, alcohol, murder, rape, smoking, anything.”
Somehow, I think the worst thing the contestants would get up to would be smoking.
But while the show’s own rules are that absolutely anything goes, Russian criminal laws will still apply if contestants do end up turning savage.
So, yeah. Killing fellow contestants won't prevent you from winning, but if you do you'll go to a Russian prison for a rather long time.

This is the Al Capone's Vault of reality TV shows.

Oh, I'm 100% sure it's hype. Pyatkovsky pinky swore that he's about to square everything with law and tv networks by the end of November, and there was absolutely no new information about the show for a month now.

I think the worst thing contestants might possibly get up to would be being eaten by a wolf.

I just learned (although it happened in November) that in its continuing efforts to destroy all joy, 2016 claimed the life of Joe Dever, author of the much-loved Lone Wolf gamebooks. Sadface times.

She was 99. I think we can forgive that one.
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.
