Anri decided to just disappear from my current Dark Souls III run.

Didn't find her at the spots where she should be according to the wiki.

So either my current playthrough glitched or she decided to stay in the Catacombs despite me advancing the questline...

Did you talk to her in both locations in the catacombs?

Also, I am currently 2-0 against cheaters. After the guy who wouldn't go near cliffs, I got invaded by a guy in the Grand Archives, but unbeknownst to him, I had cleared out the entire place and unlocked every shortcut, and I was just looking around to make sure I didn't miss any items.

So I ran around dropping off ledges and climbing up shortcut ladders taking elevators. Basically he had to run around trying to figure out if he should follow me on every drop or not, and then trying to get in the way of choke points, but nope, I just took different paths until I lost him, and then laughed manically on the way of the one elevator that goes all the way up to basically, the boss.

Unfortunately, I don't have chameleon because I killed Anri early for the luck sword, since my first character is luck based, but still, I am having fun beating all the cheaters (though they have been pretty rare.)

You probably missed her somewhere. In the Catacombs there are two places where you need to meet her. First you need to meet her at the start of the Catacombs (a room near the giant ladder with a ball rolling on it), then you need to meet her by the wooden bridge. Then you need to go find Horace in the Smouldering Lake before progressing through the game, and kill him without progressing through the game. Afterwards Anri will be gone and there will be a prism stone by the bridge where she stood. After that you'll meet her by the second bonfire in the snowy area.

I just beat the Nameless King.

That was a fun boss, really. Now it's just some grinding and catching up and finding whatever awaits me at the Kiln.

He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

I think I only saw her there once. I should go check if I can find her there, because apparently she's either there or vanished completely, since she was not at the Church of Yorshka nor the Darkmoon Tomb.

If that's the case, you've probably fucked up the quest already. Look for her in the cave where you killed Horace, in the Smouldering Lake.

Yeah, I missed Siegward because I went down some stairs and figured I was due a bonfire, rather than go down the sewer with the roomful of MurderDeathOviposition Water-Spiders, and since I didn't see him around I consulted the wiki. So I'll have to bro it up with him next playthrough

Apparently I'm also tagged as a cheater? I honestly didn't notice, but at this point, I've been invaded by nothing but cheaters for 4 separate invasions over the last two days. So I actually read the intro message and I'm tagged as "inappropriate game content" or whatever.

Fuck :(.

I did some cursory googling, and it does look like many people who played offline when the servers went down were flagged. Kinda shitty.

I need to find some folks willing to trade. I've been grinding souls by being a Sunbro for Oceiros and other bosses, and unlocked the covenant rewards. I've got 16 Sunlight medals and could get more.

On the upside, Oceiros and the Nameless King are really quick to get you summoned

If you want to password play, we can coordinate, and I'll run you through the entire game on my new character, and you can just co-op with me through every boss in the game.

Password allows SL 150 to play with SL 10, and you just get scaled down to doing my damage and my HP.

I beat Oceiros on my first try, but the Nameless King is a bastard. I ultimately had to resort to summoning a sunbro to help. That was the only boss I had more trouble with than Champion Gundyr, and Champion Gundyr was the only boss I really had any trouble with.

Nameless King, thy name is Motherfucker. He gave me trouble because there's this one move in his sequence that I just don't know when to dodge it and get stabbed for about 60% of my health. I can handle most everything else, read his tells, dodge at the right moment, but that one stab fucks me up.

Oceiros isn't bad, as such, but he's got this one charge more that hits for five or six hundred damage and that causes folks problems. He's a lot better when you can split aggro, and I've gotten a good success rate helping folks past him.

I'm open to the idea of co-oping with folks on the Den, but I have it on the PS4.

Ocierous is like, the easiest not Voort Boss in the game. Literally all you have to do is target his hips and dodge into him whenever attacks, his legs stop you just in front of him, and all his attacks miss behind you, and then you can blow your entire stamina bar attacking him and then dodge his next attack with the same roll.

This works on both his forms, though on the first form, his air leaps and death cloud require you to back off a bit, but man is he super easy.

I like Co-Oping him for medals, because I can literally beat him solo while holding aggro the whole time so that I don't have to worry about the Host getting himself killed.

Aldrich is really good co-oping, too. And good souls, if you're on someone doing NG+ or higher

I don't see Alrsich as good co-oping, since I can't be sure that the Host won't blunder into a hail of arrows and die.

Most of the folks I've run into recognize it and get the hell out. The one so far who died to it, he got stuck between Aldrich and a wall. I try to keep aggro in any case, and I know how to avoid it.

Greirat can also die on his pillaging runs if you haven't advanced Seigward's quest line to the area Greirat is heading to.

I saved Seigward well after sending Greirat on his second run, and Greirat survived. You just need to save Seigward before killing the relevant boss (which was High King Volnir for that run, I think). Also Greirat always dies on his Anor Londo run, unfortunately.

Uh what? No... He lives on his trip to Irythll if you advance Siegward's quest. He dies in Lothric Castle.

Yeah, I meant Lothric Castle. Derp.
The final boss of the game has been pretty fun, though he became much easier when I found Yuria's summon sign and we got to split the aggro.

The online mechanics in Dark Souls 3 are really terrible. You left an online session (i.e., anything with the other players present) in any way other than by dying? You get penalty points. Black Separation Crystal? Get penalty points. Power outage? Get penalty points. Eventually this gets you banned.

I've been replaying FF9 on steam. I had forgotten how short this game is, somehow it seemed longer in my memory. Also, Steiner isn't as good as I remember, he's just a brick and the few things he can do that are interesting he can't keep up even through a moderately long boss fight, whereas Freya and Amarant can go all-out with little to no recovery time. Also Eiko is better than Dagger in almost every way in battle.
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.

I also heard that having too large a stack of certain items is an auto ban for cheating, so hope you didn't farm a bunch titanite shards while trying to get proofs of concord from silver knights since no one runs Way of the Blue ever.
