A new teacher is among us

Post by nova88 »

If I remember correctly, the fencebuilder graduated last
May with a teaching degree of sorts.Public school around
here starts today,so presuming he got a teaching
position and is not pumping gas somewhere and school starts the same day at the fbmf locale,he should be launching his teaching career today.Good luck, sir.
What are you teaching? If you need help with logical
fallacies, may I suggest any WOTC rulebook.

Have some success, fence-builder.

He also had a birthday on Saturday. So congrats Mr Birthday Teacher.

:)
My son makes me laugh. Maybe he'll make you laugh, too.

I teach 6th grade Social Studies. Thank you for the well wishes.

And I did indeed turn 29 on Saturday. For the first time.

I just came across some essays I wrote in 4th through 9th grades... Would you grade them for me?

^-^

I would be delighted if you posted stories or anecdotes from your day-to-day whenever you had the time fbmf. Mostly, I am interested in the dynamics between the administration and the teachers, since I always felt that there was a great schism there, in terms of the policies advocated by each side.

You can also comment on how much like "Up the Down Staircase" your work is.

My administration, so far, has been very kewl. I really don't have any "pointed-haired boss" type stories.

Stories about the kids, though, I could tell if you like.
