Realm works

Anyone have any opinions? Im looking to do a hex crawl soon (6-8 months) and thats going to require a lot more prep work than i normally do. This seems good but i cant get a demo for whatever reason.

I dont mind dropping 40$ if its solid, but if it sucks, like most rpg software, im not interested.[/b]

I haven't used it, but from the video and the faq it looks like some sort of over-DRMed content generation software which uses a proprietary format to better eat you with, aimed at sperglords who like assigning single-word traits to characters and calling it worldbuilding.

If content generation is what you want, look at Scrivener ($40 Win, $45 Mac (v 2.0), free for Linux, regularly discounted, try for 30 days of actual use [nag dialogue, no registration required]) or set up a local wiki with open-source software.

So i looked at scrivner. How is it very different than evernote? It seems like basically the same thing at a higher Price tag. Am i missing some awesome feature?

Ive used wikis in the past but it always seems like its not as great as a dedicated tool could be. Like using a fork for jello. I can make it work but its not ideal. (What a weird metaphor)
