Anyone else want Elan to experience extreme pain?

He reminds me of every newbie player that comes to our game and relies on his team or the DM to save his ass because he wants to do something weird.

I bring this up because I game with like a pool of 20 sailors, and in one of the recent games an enthusiastic but clueless player wanted to roleplay a character a lot like Elan. He insisted on going without armor (his bard played shirtless) and hogging experience.

I want horrible, horrible things to happen to him in the comic. And then replaced with some Real Ultimate Power.

Like, I dunno. Cleric archer. Except that she will be sexy and wear chainmail bikinis. With long black hair. And a min-maxxer. LAGOS DREAM GIRL HERE PPL

Oh, heck no. He cracks me up, and he plays into so many bard stereotypes. It's nice to see the same perspective of bards that my group has actually be almost universal, now.

That said, I certainly wouldn't want someone to play Elan in any of my games.

Why did Roy and Haley have to get their asses personally handed to them?! And Elan could've at least learned the truth about how useless he was!
