What is stopping a rogue from loading up on acid flasks and
Even though I'm pretty sure people will go 'OMG Broke', this actually seems like a pretty poor idea to me, considering how expensive and fragile these things are at low levels, how they need another feat (quick draw) to use properly, and how many vials of acid you'll need to have on hand to get through combat.
I can see a 10th level rogue going through like 20 of these easily a day. But still. Any rules as written that prevent this strange tactic?
EDIT: So the entire thread title would fit - fbmf

None of which I´m aware, the Sneak Damage even counts as acid, or try with it holy water against those vulnerable to it.

Of more import is the fact that you can use alchemist's fire.
But yes, this is one of the reasons I'm unimpressed with the Arcane Trickster. A high level rogue full-attacking with flasks of crap actually does more elemental damage than the Arcane Trickster does with ray spells.
Remember that at high level you can get enhanced versions of these things, and more importantly still that your party mage can major creation up gallons of the stuff.

sneak o? Sounds like a cereal
Re: What is stopping a rogue from loading up on acid flasks
with the entire TWF feat chain (which applies to thrown weapons i believe), the Quick Draw feat, and Rapid Shot feat, you could be a real Gatling Gun flask thrower. especially nice since all you need is a ranged touch attack to succeed.

Until your DM gets tired of it, and decides your opponents "learn" of the acid flask deal and start stocking up on energy resistance.

Then you buy flasks of Alchemists fire and lay all to burnination.
I can also see a very plausable alchemical item that combines two chemicals to do about an alchemists fire worth of cold damage, but that's neither here nor there.

Don't bother trying to impress gamers. They're too busy trying to impress you to care.

Then they stock up on multiple energy resistances.
Re: What is stopping a rogue from loading up on acid flasks
And while they use up their resources significant amounts of Energy resistances, they lose out on Fortification, which would provide a bigger benefit, in this special case.
So while the rogue in question may not be able to get every opponent with this tactic, it still remains viable against the rest.

There is a cold version of alchemists fire in the MM2 under the Desmodu entry.
