Oh lordie, enderal was the worst gaming experience that I have ever been through. It uses the size of skyrim targeting on a thing where you have 3 seconds to complete a timed trial... Skyrim targeting is designed for a game that enver does that, and I suck at that already, so I dropped it. For a det...

Returning to Skyrim

So, after not playing it for about two years, I'm planning to dick around on Skyrim again. I've never actually bothered adding quest mods ever, well, except for DB extended, and that was shit, so are there any good quest mods out there?

I already know about Falskaar, and I'm going to add that.

stuff and Str or Con for regenerate... fear things Con for regenerate makes problems with no Con undead. which, if you are also redoing undead isn't a problem, but thats a lot of work. as for fear. yes. that would be cool. Fear Once per round, as a swift action you can make an intimidate check agai...

Regenerate [Black, Green] Your refusal to accept death is so strong that it actually enables you to deny it. Benefit: 1+Cha mod/day when you would be reduced to -10 hp or otherwise killed, you may instead enter a state of suspended animation. When you do, your hp is immediately raised to 0, and you...

first off, I'm not going to respond to things that you have made me agree with. If I didn't talk about it, it means "yes, good" The idea is that you're countering the other's action. But the fact that you're throwing a dagger or some sand at someone is so divorced from Magic countering, th...

haven't read all of them, but one glaring problem turned up that I saw Pacify requires Detain. Detain's save is Int or Wis, and Pacify's is Wis or Cha, which means on a wis character will ever take pacify. First strike seems really damn annoying in how it is implemented. how about, "Each enemy ...

Like all facism, gitp also has right and wrong opinions. Basically if you argue that Wizards are better than fighters, and that fighters are the problem, you will get infractions for things that your opponents in the same argument won't. Like, I've literally received an infraction for quoting someo...

Set != Anubis I missed a line in what I was saying, or I was drunk or something. Set was often portrayed with a jackal head. Like all of the Egyptian gods, he has a bajillion forms, but I'm just sticking with the main ones. So, the anubis and set animal would end up the same. @Ogrebattle Again, I i...

Every creature that lives along the Nile is an Egyptian god; b/c all of their gods were anthropomorphized after the cities with the human gods began to exert influence over their neighbours. You're better off doing something more specific; the deserts on the East of the Nile; the deserts on the Wes...

Egyptian Beast Races

One time when I was drinking I hashed out a bunch of stupidly over/underpowered beast races based on egyptian mythology. I don't think I posted it here ever. I am planning to do a write up of a not stupid version, and I'm thinking of limiting the actual number of different animals to 5 or 6. I was t...

I think that for this to work well, wizards and sorcerers sort of need to go, and be replaced with things like necromancers or anything more specific that "allmagic.tm" But it seems like you are already doing that. If you want to increase the die rolled for elementalists, I suggest dice po...

The way to determine if a feat is good is to ask this question: "if this was a feat , would I ever choose it?" The answer is usually "no", and that's because most feats suck. fixed No, you didn't. Let me explain how you are very wrong. Some feats are good. They are so good that ...

Going over how disappointing FFXIV's summoners are, what are the ways different MMO's handle pet classes and giving them commands? DDO has a pet class as the druid, and you can hire ai things to help you. They just give you another control bar with clicky command things. Generally they are self con...

DDO is 10 yrs old. and I think that makes it older than 4th ed, but I can;t be bothered to do the google search to find out. That being said, in that amount of time, they still have a game thats as large as wow when it first came out.

The thing that initially caught my eye is how elves can access arcane archer without being a ranger. Which makes ranger archers completely obsolete. You can do everything they do, and have spells by being an elf cleric. Oh, and you get +1 to attack rolls with bows if you pick the right deity which o...

I guess my major criticism is that what you're trying to accomplish would be more functional and adaptable if it was basically an Artificer that specialized in potions. As it is, you're making one of those "let's add these spells to your spell list" feats. I personally like those types of...
