Please do not pretend to be stupid. Millions of people, especially children are dying because of undernourishment every year across the world.

I guess I do not understand the relevance of your distinction. Well, duh. Look, things are simple: the bacterial infection was not inherent to the meat production process. This shit happened because something (actually, a lot of things) failed and allowed the meat to get infected and reach the mark...

Since we didn't use POs we already had it where any race got a thieves base abilities all at 0%, then adjusted by race/armor. See, I don't mind anyone doing this, or anything simmilar. As long as you realize that, by that time, you have effectively closed the books you paid real money for, have sto...

Huh? The meat was tainted at a meat processing facility. What is there to argue? That stuff should be caught before people get dead by it, if not outright prevented. I shouldn't be dying because I ate a flippin burger dammit. At least, not immediately. god damn. It was a fucking bacteria infection....

People do die from tainted meat. You will notice I said "just because it came out of a meat industry facility", meaning that the people died solely because of the reason the meat came out of the meat industry, and not because of some other factor like bacteria infection/bad storage/mad co...

The thing is it takes about... 2 or 3 episodes for that Light guy to kill a police detective just because he got the job of finding him, and then subsequently the guy's widow because she had some ideas about the killer. So it takes him a grand total of like 3 episodes to shit on his whole philosophy...

No one died from the meat just because it came out of a meat industry facility.

However, a lot of people died because of hunger.

Yeah, Death Note is 50% of the time about Light being evil and delusional.

The other 50% is about how he's powertripping about being God and all, and in the end he dies like a whiny, pathetic brat suffering the same death as countless nameless other humans.

When buying shitloads of cheap wine, buy cheap sweet white wine, because there's the least chance of being absolutely horrible. If you are a smoker, smoke hand-rolled cigarettes, unless you live in Russia or Canada or someplace similarly cold. Also important: after some 24 hrs, you're not that hungr...

The wooden stake thing almost certainly comes from the indigenous people of the Balkans. They also name one specific kind of wood (I think hawthorn) as effective against vampires. Simplification to a stake out of any wood probably came while spreading the myth around.

Abortion is not murder. It should also not be a primary mean of birth control. There is a bunch of cases where abortion is completely justifiable (including, but not limited to victims of rape, when pregnancy poses a danger to the life/mental health of the mother, when the fetus is damaged) and wher...

The reason why this is a bad idea from a public policy perspective is that if enough people opt out, then the incidence rate will increase and then instead of 1 death it will be more. At twenty deaths you're even with the vaccine, and any more than that is a net loss for humanity. Twenty deaths is ...
