Would it be possible to refluff the Dread Necromancer from Heroes of Horror as good? Creating undying minions (Eberron Campaign Setting) and positive energy channeling and stuff?

Even the barebones version of Kobold Fortress won't be ready for a while. But are prospective players of Kobold Fortress interested in the conquer/clear out the dungeon in PC mode/transition to Dungeonbuilder mode with a half-formed ruleset that they discover as they go through the paces? I'm total...

Nope. Slavic folklore is like most folklore in the sense that while epic things do occur (see Koschei the Deathless) the heroes are more or less human, which means the threats are usually defeated by more or less human ways.

A girl I like who is a gamer and a transhumanist ( like me!) has a boyfriend, but said she'd been polygamous in the past and enjoyed it. Am I a bad person if I wanna convince her to try again?

Haha you said bears. I have nothing constructive to add. Also I would also be interested in looking at that collapsed list. Maybe if I add enough homebrew to DnD, it'll be fixed :(

Couldn't you just contrive of a game that is like Age of Worms without actually, y'know using the adventure path itself? Start people off on a reasonable level too. Though I'll join either way because I typically don't got shit to do on Sundays. I'm running age of worms because I'm very lazy and do...

That sounds fine. I think the Spirit Shaman should have recharge times for expended slots between encounters, (cause spamming summon swarm or summon nature's ally every round could get annoying, or alternatively you could just not do that), but that's a suggestion. If I see you guys roflstomping th...

Sure, if you can show me the class. Nevermind, found it. Looks reasonable, at 5th level you can cast a total of 2 3rd level spells all day long off the not-so-great druid list. Which I think is more or less okay. Few things: It'll be level 5 (I'll scale up encouters myself) and I would ask people t...

I'm basically forced to start at level one due to the requirements of the adventure path, (though i personaly despise level 1 games myself) but the times will depend on the players. My time zone is Eastern European, though, but I can wake up early / late depending on when people can be available.

[Play-By-Skype] AP Age of Worms Recruitment

Heyo guys and gals, so this is a thing. Been playing a DnD game with a friend GMing that literally just exploded this morning after the GM got tired of appeasing the mouthbreathers in the game. This made me understandably sad, because I was enjoying being not uber-optimised and yet not lagging behin...

The SR5 matrix is a convoluted piece of shit. To put a point on it, the way it works in concept is...garbled, to say the least. More or less, an upgrade to the matrix made it works more like telecom grids than the adhoc wireless of SR4, but the underlying concept is more or less magic. Not out-of-un...

Basically, there are really two different ways to do decent rpg investigation. One is Frank's method, which really deals with your ability to extemporize. The second, if you want that feeling of 'Elementary, my dead Watson!' for your players, then you have to draw attention to the obvious clues. For...

Depends on my mood and genre. If the game is modern/future time, I'm either running some flavour of PI or conman/fraudster/thief, but if its fantasy I typically want someone with a huge fuck-off sword and a cheerfully amoral attitude. (In DnD speak, this means I either run a cleric or a wizard.)
