Please, continue slandering me over a misunderstanding in a computer game, it is the best use of both our time.

If you really feel the need to continue harassing me please have the decency to do so over PM and stop shitting up this previously entertaining thread.

Oh, by the way, if any of the several people I've messaged about the war with Ryleh want to corroborate my story that would be appreciated.

I've said my piece, you breaking free of Ryleh as I was about to attack was coincidental and I never lied to you or tricked you; I requested access to Ryleh and you denied me so I sent my army after you instead. If I wanted to attack you from the beginning I wouldn't have wasted all that time going ...

I wasn't gaining intelligence, I already have scouts all over the area, but whatever, if you're determined to think I am dishonorable that is your decision; I didn't have any pacts or agreements with you so I didn't feel I was under any obligations, militarily, if that's not the way you play then I'...

I'm sorry you consider it a sneak attack. You denied my request so I figured I was under no specific obligations. I'm out of independents to conquer and I can't just let this army sit here and rot can I? Nothing personal just striking while the iron is hot, so to speak.

While the Nascent Nation of Ultimately Unstoppable Ulm appreciates affective alliteration in the preceding period piece, the Auspicious Council of Burghers must take issue with how our Expertly Equipped Empire is portrayed. Truly ours is a mission of peace and good will. Too long have we seen the hu...

Ugh. To be deliberately dispassionate or disconnected from typical morality structures, in the medium of fucking plain-text no less, is not a sign of mental dysfunction.

Okay, but where exactly is the line? Is it immoral to use a cucumber as a sex toy? Why do we care about animal rights at all on the micro scale? At what point of intellectual development should we start caring about a species' rights or feelings?

Sorry to drag the conversation back a bit, but I was wondering about Just because there are great gapping flaws in our country doesn't mean we aren't better than the USA, which is pretty much the bottom of the developed Western nations when it comes to "places it would be good to live in"....

Diplomacy in the real world always involves one important thing that TNG often ignores: Leverage. "I can give you X, if you give me Y." "If we have peace, we will both prosper against the Romulans." and "If you don't stop eating people I will nuke your planet and sow salt o...

This early in the game I find them useful enough for taking an indy province or two, or at the very least weakening an especially tough one so I can avoid taking casualties with my real army. They are just a huge pain in the ass any time after the first year though.

Since we're, oddly, on the topic of Let's Plays and Retsupuraes suddenly I'll make a couple of suggestions. I'm trying to set up so I can join the server, but I've run into a snag; I can't find my saved games anywhere in my dominions 3 directory. Anyone else know of this problem?

I'm running windows 7 64bit if that matters.
