Pathfinder does have feats for the fighter that do just that, import them.

Details I learned so far: Can raise Shield to protect self. Shields grant no AC boost till raise. Also target must break through your hardness to hurt you (and shield). Agile property means 0/-4/-8 for attacks. Versatile: A weapon can be used to do more than one type of damage. For instance, a longs...

So, apparently, in Playtest details, you get critical damage if beat AC by 10 now.

Wonder how they make Longsword better than battleaxe's than since higher Crit damage is usually better if no Critical chance increase.

But can't you just call them interns and not pay them. I mean, most interns aren't paid. That is also illegal in WA. Not according to article. They were told they weren't to be paid and they know they aren't entitled to a job. Now the questions are: Did they work with regular employees or by themse...

Certain states have prohibitions against using volunteer labor in a for-profit enterprise. If someone does work for you, you have to fucking pay them. This principle is called 'minimum wage' and is widely considered to be a Good Thing. Aggressive definitions of what an employee is are necessary for...

Can't they just remake 3.5 (without calling it that), building on what works between that and 5E.

http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2uuob?Changes-to-the-Shifter Pathfinder devs admit that they made a design mistake and openly fix things instead of declaring it errata. Unfortunately, their design 'mistake' was that they accidentally made a class that was simple and straightforward instead of being poi...

Are there any other games that run this combat engine? I don't even think they need a good story, I just want numerous interesting 3.5E combat puzzles. Or is there a modding/expanded content community for it? What about Return to Temple of Elemental Evil...or is that the printed modules name? Altho...

Eh. It depends what they do. Moving away from spamming class based archetypes and dozens of traits in Starfinder was clearly a good move (though themes are kinda boring (take themeless, unless a really really specific ability absolutely matters) and the SF archetype system is a blatantly unfinished...

I'd love Hell's Vengeance or Wrath of Righteous (evil supported or Mythic would be cool).

Keep in mind that when the Christians were getting started and used the cross as a symbol, the cross is basically a torture device. So you can see the martyrdom/suffering parallels between Christ and Issek, is all I'm saying - and that's before we get to the wine bit. Blame St. Patrick, besides cha...

Yes, ToEE but no horrible bugs would make it a decent game. I kickstarted, I figure hope the best, but expect the worst.

Did they mention if multiclassing available?

So looks Starfinder has removed additional attacks by BAB, everyone can have 2 attacks (starting at first level) with a penalty.
Can get more through Rapid shot feat, etc., but Haste just lowers penalty when taking an additional attack.

So new FAQ: We are back in 3.0 D&D land, bows do nothing, only arrows matter. Apparently, it was always supposed to be this way. I love revisionist history. Basically, the enhancement of arrows determine their new DR rule (+3 cold iron or silver, +4 is adamantine, etc) The bow only grants...

I have no idea you think paizo would be aiming to model any of those cases. Or that they'd be able to even if they wanted to. There are at least a half dozen ways of getting swarms already in the rule set. It isn't even a high level thing for the most part, and often fuck off useless once you move ...

So, less complaining and more fascinated: Druids can now have swarm familiars instead of animal companions. Also turn into a swarm at 12th. Issue is why they decided they must be familiars instead of companions? Sadly, since they are familiars, if vermin like house centipede they lose mindless trait...

As much as people - myself included - like to hate on how there are no rules for skills, that is literally one of the selling points of the edition for many people. I've talked to a lot of people who like 5e better because it's "simpler" and point out that all the skill stuff is stuff for...

This is totally wrong. Adding a few gobllins to major set piece encounters is so easy you don't even have to tell the other players you are doing it. It depends how you're breaking the power curve. For instance, if the PCs have ACs so high that no creature in the Bestiary can hit them, then adding ...

No, it doesn’t makes sense that those iterative attacks gain the damage bonus. To make that second attack, you have to pull the lance back and stab forward again, and that stab doesn’t have the benefit of the charge’s momentum. (The Core Rulebook doesn’t state that you only get the damage multiplie...

Honestly, one could backport Solarian to Pathfinder or 3.5 D&D. I like the idea of it.

It seems like it wouldn't be an issue. Unless they do something related to lasers like the other classes.

I think you missed the point. A player rolls a reflex save, and that is the only shit they need to care about it, unless they insist on recalculating it every time using simple addition. The player doesn't have to worry if his character is arbitrarily bad at random saving throw categories so has to...
